Kids First Dental was first established over 10 years ago, in May of 2008. Since then, weve provided the best in comprehensive care for adults and children to countless families from our convenient location in Lancaster, SC. Our providers have many years of combined experience, and our focus is on maintaining a caring and knowledgeable team of oral healthcare providers.
When we named ourselves Kids First Dental, we chose more than just a name, but an entire concept of care. It starts with how we approach children and parents. Thats why the first thing youll notice is not only a friendly and warm staff with a focus on patient care, but also amenities designed to make you and your children feel at home. We even have an arcade game room for children! And we believe that everyone should have access to the best in care, which is why our staff is bilingual and speak fluent Spanish.
We want you to be successful. Thats why we have a no cavity club with childrens photos on a bulletin board. We also give our orthodontic patients backpacks with all they need to care for their orthodontics. Education is key to your success, which is why its central to everything we do.
Excellent service is a must, but it doesnt mean much if we cant perform the procedures you need. Thats why weve built a full solution to your familys dental care needs. We offer a multi-service practice with pediatric and adult services for general dentistry, pediatric care, root canals, and oral surgery. We perform teeth whitening, utilize tooth-colored fillings for restorative dentistry, and perform adult and child porcelain crowns and bridges. We extend hospital services to children under 6.
All of these services are also backed by the latest, cutting-edge technology. Tools like digital x-rays dont just help us perform better than the competition. They also mean increased comfort. While achieving better results, our modern tools are less invasive and fastercritical for keeping children both happy and healthy.
Dr. Sylvester Adu Boahene has been practicing dentistry for thirteen years. He completed his BDS in Ghana in 2000, DDS in New York University in 2008, General Practice Residency 2009. He is now a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), and South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA). Dr. Sylvesters vision is to take care of the dental needs of his patients and help with the prevention of dental disease. In his own words, My patients are my priority. I want to give them the best treatment they deserve.
Dr. Leonardo Leo Koerich was born and raised in Brazil. He first completed his DDS at Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil. He furthered his education by completing a one-year Post-doc Research Fellowship at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Upon completion, he received a full scholarship for a residency in Orthodontics at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Dr. Leo met his wife, Dr. Lindsey and decided to move to the United States in 2013 and was required to complete a second round of dental school, this time at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Leo is a general dentist and he practices orthodontics exclusively. He has received several awards including from the American Association of Orthodontics, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and the International Association for Dental Research. He has published over 20 scientific papers in peer-reviewed dental/orthodontic journals and volunteers his time working as an ad hoc reviewer for them. appointment was at 3:00, get there at 2:50, didn't get called back to a chair until 3:50, almost an HOUR after the scheduled appointment, then continued to sit and wait after going back, people have other places to be and can't just sit and wait hours for a simple cleaning, absolutely ridiculous!

Had to take my child to get immediate extraction this morning,,the staff was overly kind w getting her seen and procedure all within an hour time,,Front desk ladies are super warm welcome,nurses in back are comforting to patient and try to let child know what's going to happen to help relieve the anxiety,dentist is very professional and gentle,,wonderful place,,thank you for what you do

I love taking my kids to this place. They really care about my kid's health. They are very sweet and sensitive to their needs. They answer your questions and explain children about tooth care. My oldest daughter is not afraid to go to the dentist anymore and she takes good care of her teeth. I am so proud of her. I had a child with special needs and they were very understanding of her needs and took good care of her. Thank you Kid's First Dental.

We love Kids First Dental! They are always on point. The staff very cordial and helpful. I pray I never have to change locations because this is our go to Dentist for our daughter. My family would like to say Thank you to the entire staff and to keep up the good work.

My kids enjoy going to kids first dental. Everyone is friendly an so nice. Everyone works together as a team to make sure u get in an get out. Iam glad that I pick This dental office for my kids.

Took my son in today for a regular check up and it was our first time here. The staff was so friendly and made my son feel comfortable, service was quick also. 10/10 highly recommend

My son came in to have tooth extraction. He is terrified of dental work, which the dentist is aware of. Half way through the extraction, he stopped due to my son being upset & referred me to an oral surgeon. The dentist basically got impatient and told me he was busy & kicked us out. Now I'm stuck trying to find someone to help finish the extraction because we cannot wait days until we can see someone. Terrible experience & this guy has zero patience. Why do pediatric dentistry if you don't have the time and patience to deal with kids?

Terrible dentist. Braces haven't been changed in 7 months. I called early in reference to missing an appointment due to an important test and dental appointment was postponed to 4 months later. Mind you it had already been 3 months. Wires are falling off and I was told that I couldn't be seen unless the wires was hurting me. Defiantly 1 star if I could give 0 i would.
