When I am not at the office, you can find me spending time with my husband and toddler. I am an outdoor enthusiast and am always cheering for ASU and the Arizona Cardinals. I love trying new local restaurants, especially if there are chips and salsa!
I was born and raised in Phoenix and am a proud Sun Devil! I went to dental school at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health and completed my pediatric dental residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Holyoke, Massachusetts. I returned to Arizona in 2012 to practice pediatric dentistry.

My favorite sports are baseball and hockey. My favorite movies are Good Will Hunting, 12 Angry Men, The Princess Bride, and The Matrix. I love listening to audiobooks in the car, from literary classics to Harry Potter.
I have been practicing orthodontics since 1999. I am married and have two boys along with three dogs and a cat. In my spare time, I enjoy music, cooking with my wife, and surviving playing with my boys.

Definitely due your due diligence and shop around. This place is a sales team trying to get money. Her dentist back home suggested minimal work was needed. This place wanted to put SEVERAL CROWNS on my 4 year old with a very large bill. Found another pediatric dentist in town and they took care of what was needed and did not try to upsell several crowns to a 4 year old.

5 stars for Michelle- the dental assistant she was great Tina was fast and efficient she gave me multiple different options for care which included: A) -a 4 visits to get work done little by little with nitrous- B) -2 visits with moderate oral sedation- C) -deep sedation in office or at the local hospital- By 2 o'clock same day, they were pushing deep sedation (which is an IV sedation) At the hospital for all the work to be done at once- my kid is under 7 no thank you. The office excuses were "it's expensive" then "that the other dentists didn't feel comfortable doing the work". So why give me the options in the first place? (***we have insurance so most of it was covered and we never once made the cost an issue- care and experience was my concern as I have had a personal experience 25+ years prior**) Thank you because I don't want my kid getting care from dentists that aren't comfortable with doing what they are supposed to be passionate about and made a career of.

Our first time here, and it was wonderful! The staff have excellent customer service and are extremely kind. Carlos was amazing, and my daughter felt so comfortable with him. I would highly recommend!

Being forced to check in on line or refusing service for my daughter is absolutely absurd! You already have all of are information. This is the only dentist she has ever visited and may be the last visit.

Our grandchildren were assigned Mercy Care Health Insurance and their dentist said he would not accept this insurance. We found Kid's Dentists of Surprise online. Since the first call to see if they would accept Mercy Care to them visiting the for a check up, we have been treated royally by staff and the dentist. We are very pleased with the care they received by all.

Friendly staff! I accidentally got the appointment day mixed up and they were so understanding and squeezed us in. I felt terrible, but the receptionist was so kind about it. I was very appreciative we were able to have our visit. Ortho treatment is going well and I am scheduling to get my other daughter started on a plan as well. Great service and I highly recommend!

Scheduling could use more training and communication with clients. Driving a distance and then being told they rescheduled your appointment.....well it would be nice to know before arriving to said appointment

We have been with Dr. Simpson since day 1. She is caring, attentive, and knowledgable. We have received nothing but 5 star care and reception. It's hard to find a dentist that I can trust for my children. We're blessed to have Dr. Simpson as ours. Highly recommend.

Dentist pushed to have our 4 yr old get 7 caps and a root canal, under anesthesia Went for 2nd opinion with 5 star dentist and was told there were not even 7 teeth that needed attention. He also was able to do 2 fillings under local. Such a terrible scam to bill insurance for things not needed and under anesthesia which is dangerous for our children

My little guy needed an emergency visit so I called around and no one could seem to squeeze us in. I felt hopeless because we couldn't seem to get an appointment. I came across kids dentist of surprise on google and read all the great reviews and thought I would give it a go. Thank goodness they had a 2pm cancellation and was able to add us to their schedule. We seen Dr. Simpson, she was so nice and gentle with my son (who was so scared) she explained everything that would need to be done and made sure I felt comfortable with the treatment plan. The wait was not long, the office is very clean and everyone is friendly. The front office staff was so inviting and helpful. Thank you to everyone for making us feel so comfortable. We will definitely be back in 6 months for his cleaning.

Wasn't going to review, but after having my kiddo seen by a different company and being told treatment ordered by this location wasn't needed, I feel the need to review this place. First off, they book out treatment for months, appointment time comes and if you happen to be at work and don't call back they cancel the appointment and tell you it's another 3 months for the next. Fine fair enough. But then to receive a letter from the kids insurance saying the treatment was already billed was disappointing. Finalize that with taking my kid to a different business and being shown on xray and in person that the kid didn't have a single cavity and yet this place said there was work needed was the final nail! I hope they have better business practices going forward so others don't learn the hard way. Be better!
