Dr. Stu Bonnin earned his doctorate from the University of Florida where he completed his residency in pediatric dentistry in 2001. He has been providing outstanding dental care to Pensacola and the surrounding areas for the past ten years. Dr. Bonnin is on staff at Sacred Heart Hospital and maintains active memberships with numerous professional organizations, such as American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Bonnin is on the board of directors for the Pensacola Winterfest and performs every year for the Winterfest Trolley Tours. He is a presenting sponsor for the annual ARC Gateway Crab Cake Cook-off. Dr. Bonnin is a part-time associate professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the Louisiana State University College of Dentistry.
When Dr. Rachel isnt busy telling kids her jokes, she can be found fighting the battle against sugar bugs, aka cavities. She grew up right here near Pensacola in a small town called Byrneville. She graduated from Northview High School and still reminisces on the glory days of softball champs and homecomings. She acquired a biology degree at the University of West Florida, graduating with honors. She went on to graduate from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine followed by two additional years of training in pediatric dentistry. She worked as a pediatric dentist near the University of Florida for a while before finally realizing there's no place like home!
Needless to say, Dr. Rachel is not your ordinary pediatric dentist. She believes an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and stopping cavities before they even start is the best way to keep her patients happy and healthy! Dr. Rachels specialty training involved growth and development of an infant through adolescence. She believes recognizing conditions that can affect development of teeth and jaws are integral to oral health and overall health. She is a board certified pediatric dentist and stays up to date on the newest and best technologies in dentistry to keep your child safe and healthy. She can't wait to meet you!
Dr. Witcher grew up in Ocean Springs, Mississippi and is so glad to be back on the Gulf Coast. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi, and completed three additional years of specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Florida. Dr. Witcher loves all things outdoors and can be found riding jetskis, fishing, or duck hunting when not at work. He is also an excellent cook and worked at a few five star dining restaurants before becoming an Orthodontist! Although he has been doing more diaper changing than anything after he and his wife recently welcomed their first child, Heidi, into the world! In addition to Dr. Witchers expertise with traditional braces, he also provides Invisalign and is up to date with the newest and best treatment techniques for his patients so he can give them the smile they deserve. He cant wait to meet you!
I was born and raised in Pensacola and graduated from Pine Forest High School. I started working for Kids Dental Place team in 2011, and couldn't be happierwith my decision to work with kids everyday.I have a beautiful golden retriever named Leia and enjoy spending time with her andfamily, going to the beach , and shopping. I'm currently finishing pre-requisite courses for the Dental Hygiene program to further my dental knowledge.
Shortly after graduating I joined the KidsDental Place team. It has been amazing to work with children on a daily basis, as well as expandmy knowledge in the dental field! Being a part of this practicehas been one of my greatest experiences! Outside of work Ihave two beautiful daughters a loving husband and a great dane named Hercules. When I'm not working you can find us spending time at the beach!
I recently moved from Texas to Florida. I have two dogs named Tabor & Leo. I am married to my High School sweetheart. Being able to work for the Kids Dental Place has given me the fulfillment of my passion of working with children. I am excited to see my growth in this practice!

Love dr.bonin! He was the only dentist in Pensacola I could get to pull my 1 year old's cracked tooth! Especially easy to work with being a first time parent with me being just as nervous as my baby was. Cannot recommend him enough!

Amazing! My child is autistic and had to have IV sedation. I was lucky enough to meet both Dr. Bonnin and Dr. Witcher. Both were Great and exceeded expectations. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I'm just super happy and pleased with the experience. The only thing I will say is that it was a wait for the procedure because my son did need to have IV sedation. That being said, I didn't take any stars off because they actively worked to get him in earlier and I appreciate that (IV sedation happens about once a month and is a separate company). For other parents that don't know and are trying to find a place for their little ones I highly recommend this one.

My daughter got her first set of kids gold earrings for Christmas. She took them out at the dentist two weeks later for an X-ray but accidentally left them there. We didn't realize that she lost them until the weekend. So the next time we visited the office, we asked if they had them but they did not. Without hesitation, Dr. Rachel got online and started shopping around to replace them. Even though my husband told her that she didn't have to do that, she purchased another pair. No other dentist would have done this. Dr. Rachel has always been an outstanding pediatric dentist but I would like to commend her for this act of kindness. My daughter was devastated that she lost her first pair of earrings, which I had no intention of replacing if she wasn't responsible enough to remember them. Thank you again Dr. Rachel for taking care of her teeth and putting a smile on her face.

We have taken all four of our children to KIDS Dentist for years, two of whom did their first dental care visit as two-year-olds and have remained as patients along with their siblings until now. Dr. Bonnin and Dr. Rachel Witcher are both very nice and gentle to the children without compromising thoroughness and excellence in practice. Their dental assistants have likewise provided such kind, patient, and excellent dental care to our four curious energetic children.

Even going as an adult I have an enjoyable time. The staff is very friendly and is great at answering any questions. I have been going through invisalign treatment with Dr. Witcher and I cannot say anything negative about the team. Thank you to each of you, especially Tiffany who helped put the initial trays in!!
