Dr. Burtenshaw is an Idaho native; he grew up in the Idaho Falls area where he graduated from Bonneville High School. He received an Associate Degree at Brigham Young University, and then received his Bachelors degree from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. He went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2003, from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. And continued on to Nova Southeastern University where he received his specialty training in Pediatric dentistry, and completed his residency at both the Miami Childrens Hospital and Joe DiMaggios Childrens Hospital.
Dr. Burtenshaw is just a big kid himself so when hes not having fun with the children he treats locally, or traveling throughout the United States teaching and assisting other specialists in the Pediatric Industry. He loves to be with his wife Natalie and their four children taking family vacations, coaching little league baseball, spear fishing, golfing, traveling, and is still a strong Bonneville High School supportive for his graduating High School.
Dr. Burtenshaw is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, the American Dental Association, and the Idaho State Board of Dentistry and is Board Eligible by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

My daughter broke her tooth, the staff got her in within an hour, and fixed it in less than a half hour. I've never been to a better dental practice before. Very professional, very clean. Usually I feel dentists are like used car salesmen, always trying to sell you something. Not here, doctors are super honest and minimalistic. I can't say enough nice things about this place.

My kids love Dr Burtenshaw. We have been there over 10 years. Always willing to work with the bill, takes time with the kids and is awesome!

Never will take my son to them ever again. I took him twice for cavities . The first time went perfect. They used the oxygen to relax him for about (15 MINUTES). Then injected the anastesia and my son did not complain at all. The 2nd time we went in again for the exAct same thing but on the other side. This time, I told them hey my son has a cold and bad cough will it affect the procedure. They said no. Okay, they put the oxygen around his nose while he had a stuffy nose. (5 MINUTES )passed by till the doctor came in with the anastesia. Longest 45 minutes of my life. My son cried of course. I know my son and when he says its hurting and doesn't stay still while doing the procedure it means it is hurting him. The doctor kept saying it wasn't. Then the worst thing happened, doctor accidentally cut his lip. My son felt it i know he did. This was dr's fault my son did not move at all. I was there to see that. But ok accidents happen i understand. I asked the doctor can he feel that he said no. I walked away for a min and noticed he was injecting more anastesia. Omg my sons was crying and hurting again. Anyways they had to put stitches n all. After that they went back to work on the rest and every single move my son was hurting even tho they said no but he was . I could tell the dr. Was getting overwhelmed because of the complaining of my son but hey they should have the patience. The assistant was getting on my nerves, she wouldn't stop talking about (its ok its ok almost done almost done) don't say you're almost done when you r not. Probably I was just so overwhelmed and at that time i didn't want to hear anyones voice, She talks too much. And, btw I did not like the fact that the dr worked on 3 child's all At once. I don't think thats professional. Looks like they just come to jackson hole, WY and try to get as much work and money done in one day. They are from Idaho. Just thought I'd share my story with y'all

We love Kid's Dental! I have four kids ages 13 to 7 who have been going to Dr. Bingham for the past several years. Before Kid's Dental, we switched between many dentists, not really finding one that we really loved. We moved closer to Idaho Falls and started going to Dr. Bingham. I set up an appointment for all four kids. They were able to get them in at same time (I loved this as a working mother). All of the staff that worked with my kids were happy, patient, and enthusiastic. During their examination, Dr. Bingham was amazing with each one of them. He took the time to talk to them before the examination which put them at ease. His examination was thorough. He explained things both to me and my child during the examination. He also helped my children learn how to care for their teeth. Every time they ask a questions, he always takes time to answer them at their level. The thing that I love about Dr. Bingham is that he genuinely cares about my kids health and well being. He has taken the time to build a relationship with them and they look forward to seeing Dr. Bingham to show him how great they are doing. I also appreciate Dr. Bingham because his recommendations for the care of my children teeth are sound. He has never overlooked a problem or recommended something that was not needed. We are so happy to have a dentist we can trust!

They were great with all of my kids. I have one who gets anxious, but the hygenists and dentist helped him feel at ease. They were all very friendly and we will definitely continue using them!

Our kids love their dentist. The staff and Doctors at Kids Dental are professional and so sweet to my babies. I have been impressed at their gentle patience with my children, all the while taking care of their dental health and making sure that I stay well informed. Since we have started going here we have been cavity free for over a year! That is a big deal in our home. They have their patients interest at heart. I would recommend anyone to this awesome dental office.
