This place is great for kids. My children (9 yrs old) just had their first cavity filled and the staff was absolutely amazing. Dr. Short was kind and helpful as always. Alonzo, The RDA was extremely kind and accommodating while the work was being done. Alonzo made the boys comfortable and relaxed. It was a great first experience.

The hygienist did an amazing job dealing with my daughter's dental anxiety and would explain what she was doing in such a fun way. My daughter actually let her clean her teeth! Dr.Shaw is outstanding. She has amazing patient care and we are looking forward to continuing care with her! The front office are rock star ladies! All around a great place to take your kiddo.

I took all three of my kids there to get their teeth cleaned. We had been there before and they had done a good job previously. This time, however, it was terrible. We returned home to find that all three of my kids still had plaque on the back of their teeth that was not removed during the cleaning. What a complete waste of time!!

We LOVE Dr. Shaw at the Folsom location! My boys (age 6 and 4) look forward to their dentist appointments now that we switched to Kids Care Dental in Folsom. Dr. Shaw is WONDERFUL. She has a special way of connecting with the kids and making them feel comfortable. Both my boys needed to have cavities fixed and she made it quick and painless for all of us! We tried other pediatric dentists before moving to the area, and Kids Care Dental in Folsom was by far our best experience! The staff was great and Dr. Shaw was amazing!

Just wanted to thank you guys especially to Dr K.Furmanek and his team for taking good care of my son Kyle on the day of his surgery yesterday. I appreciate u guys hard work and dedication to ur patients and also thank u to Dr.K for checkin on him few hours post surgery. Kyle is doing great and back to himself again. U guys are awesome!

My children have been coming to this dentist for about 10 years. I enjoy the convenience of having general dentist and ortho in the same location. Working with them is easy too never had any billing issues and they also don't nickel and dime you like other offices.

We had a great experience at the Folsom location! The assistant who cleaned my kids' teeth was really gentle but thorough. They saw Dr. Shaw and she was awesome! The kids felt very comfortable and liked how she explained everything to them, as they are teens, instead of just to me as their parent. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend Dr. Shaw for anyone looking for a new dentist. My daughter even commented that she hopes she can see Dr. Shaw as her dentist even when she is no longer a kid!

We've being going to kids care for about 4 years. Our favorite dentist retired (which was well deserved) unfortunately we weren't notified with a phone of the change (or even a text message). So when we arrived and discovered a different denist was seeing my kids but they didnt even know which one. They were clearly over booked and most people (including myself) had two kids with them. This office with the move and nearly all new staff really lost what made this place magic for my kids. We keep going back hoping it's just a phase but now I'm not sure. We made our next appointment and when I got home I realized it will be difficult to make that time. I called the office asking to reschedule and they haven't call back. It's been over a month.

For being a childrens dental office the dentists here do not have much patience with younger children. They also over book their dentists making them rush through appointments. My child's dentist was so rushed she applied a space maintainer so poorly I'm having to take her to another dental office to have it fixed. The front office staff is generally very nice and so are the assistants. The dentist that we particularly had spoke very rudely to the assistants that assisted her on more than one occasion. Will not be going back.

Great place for kids. This place really knows how to handle kids. They are very friendly and interactive with the kids as well as moving quickly through the procedures so that the child doesn't get uncomfortable. They have TVs playing on the ceiling for the kids to watch while undergoing any work. BIG HELP! The staff was all great and helpful for us. Our dentist was Dr. Hollie and she was very friendly and fast. She walked me through all her findings on my child's mouth/teeth and explained what she saw and what her recommendations were. We had a great experience here and will be loyal customers for years to come. If you have children who need to see a dentist, I would definitely recommend Kids Care and Dr. Hollie. :)

The dentists here are terrible. The orthodontist seems great. The office staff are nice. Tried a few different dentists and they were all extremely frustrating to deal with. They were rude and they treated me (the parent) horribly and would not listen to what I had to say. Will never be back and will not recommend.
