Here at Kidmazing Dental, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentists office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.
Our dentists and staff have received extra training for primary teeth. Our goal is to protect your childrens teeth so they can eat and speak correctly. We will do whatever we can to help your children have the bright smiles they deserve.
Dr. Asgari is a board-certified pediatric dentist originally from Southern California. He received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1999. After graduating, Dr. Asgari was accepted into the prestigious Columbia University where he received his D.D.S. from the School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 2004.
At Columbia, Dr. Asgari was the editor-in-chief of the Columbia Dental Review, a student research journal. He was awarded the Dr. Lawrence H. Meskin Journalism Award for excellence in Dental Student Publication, an award given to one student in the nation annually.
He then completed a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital where he received an award for excellence in laser dentistry. After completing his general practice residency, Dr. Asgari was accepted into the pediatric dentistry specialty at Mount Sinai Hospital. He served as chief resident in pediatric dentistry and authored various publications which appeared in local and nationwide dental journals.
Dr. Asgari continued to work in private practice while spending his free time teaching at the residency until 2009. Dr. Asgari received his Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2009. His longing for his native Southern California and its beautiful weather led him back to San Diego where he has practiced in North County for the past 4 years. He is a member of the AAPD, ABPD, and College of Diplomates.
Dr. Asgari and his wife have four wonderful children who are the joy of his life; two bright, fun boys, and two wonderful and curious twin girls. On his days off he can be found taking the kids out hiking, biking, to soccer practice or one of the many amazing local theme parks San Diego has to offer. The doctor is an avid basketball fanatic and a diehard Lakers fan as well as a car enthusiast. He is a very passionate sports fan and enjoys the NBA, MMA and FIFA. He is a lifelong and DIEHARD fan of the LA Lakers and Real Madrid! If you happen to catch him during lunch he might be cheering loudly watching one of their games. Admittedly he may have more knowledge in these sports than any other topic.

My daughter recently had a few cavities filled and a crown put in at KidMazing. I couldn't sleep the night before I was so nervous for her; she's never had cavities before. The staff there is great. The office is fun for the kids and most important the dentist and hygienists made my daughter feel very comfortable and kept reinforcing what a good job she was doing. Highly recommended.

We went here for my daughters first dental appointment and it couldn't have gone better! Amazing, kind staff and a very friendly environment! 10/10 recommend!!!

This office is very unorganized. I received a phone call regarding a past due balance I apparently had on my account. My children were seen in July of 2021 and they are now reaching out stating that I have a past due balance. It took this office 1 year to figure out that I had a balance on my account when I had reached out to them to verify. They reassured me that my balance was zero. I'm very disappointed that this happened and it could have been prevented since the beginning. I will be taking my children to another office!!! I do not recommend this office. Look elsewhere!

They made my dental visit so much more brighter after they told me i would need deep cleaning i began to panic but when i did the deep cleaning i did not need numbness and it was pain free!! Would recomand!

My appointment was actually at the time it was set for and I didn't spend 40 min in the waiting room. The dr was amazing with my 4 year old and made sure to diligently answer all my questions.

My son had this vitamin treatment that a previous dental office had offered and said was my only option to help save his teeth. The only problem was it turned his teeth black. It Looked so bad and my son himself would smile and say yucky. After meeting with dr. At Kidamazing he informed me that I did have more options and he would have never recommended that. I wish I could have met with him way sooner, my son now has beautiful crowns on his front teeth and he loves looking at his teeth.

I love Dr. Ali and all the staff in the back office, the are extremely knowledgeable and kind to my three girls. Unfortunately, that can't be said about his front office staff. I have a PPO dental plan and for some reason it was populating as an HMO plan when the front desk was attempting to verify my daughter's insurance when I had called once before. Today I called my dental plan ahead of time to confirm that we indeed have a PPO and made sure Dr. Ali is listed as an in-network provider and explained this to the front desk staff. I was met with "I don't know what you want me to do, we checked and it says you have a HMO." Again, i explained to her that i called my dental plan and they confirmed with me that i have a PPO. And again i was met with unprofessionalism "So what do you want us to do, we called and they said you have an HMO. I can't help you." We are saddened to have to find a new dentist for my three girls. All because of the front desk staff unwillingness to help.

My daughter came from Super Dentist and suffered PTSD and had many horrible experiences there. Today we had our first visit that was more then a cleaning & she did so great! When she was done all she talked about was how much more comfortable she was and how much more she liked Dr. He's so compassionate and great with my girls and great with explaining all that he's doing while being their friend and making sure they are comfortable! Definitely recommend!

Phenomenal experience! Dr. Ali is so patient and kind with my anxious son, he's also very conservative and doesn't rush to do unnecessary treatment! He's never made me feel hurried, and has always taken the time to sit down with me and answer all my paranoid mom questions. The office itself if beautiful, clean, and they are totally geared towards children and are stocked with toys, an video games and TVs in the ceiling so the kids can watch movies while they wait (and it helps distract them while they're getting their teeth cleaned, too!) I've never had to wait 10 minutes past my appointment time, which is also a plus.

I've been taken my son for the past 2 years and everything has been great! Left the Super Dentist and came here & let me tell you ITS A BIG DIFFERENCE . Here, you won't wait as long for your child to get seen. & second my MAIN REASON, since they don't overbook their schedule, your child is not waiting so long for doctor to come back after they get numbed , or even wait to get their exam and cleaning. Once they get called back they get treated. Staff has been good to me too, good customer service. PS . My son just joined the #nocavityclub

Do Not Recommend. My three year old daughter needed work and we traveled from three hours away to come to this office. I was told by the staff I would be able to watch dr Ali's procedure on my daughter by camera the whole time. The day of her procedure I'm told they didn't offer that. We still stayed and went through with her procedure. Behind closed doors they all failed to tell me they were intubating my three year old daughter. We agreed to gas Anesthesia only. I communicated for them to tell me what they were doing and they failed to do so. Then after the procedure was finished, and Fanny at the front desk told me she was intubated. I went in the back and asked the anesthesiologist why they did NOT tell me they intubated my daughter, and his exact words to a T were " do we really need to tell you every little thing we do in these procedures?!" In an aggressive tone and then went on to whisper " oh my " under his breath as I'm telling him he needs to tell the mother of the three year old that you INTUBATED HER. He WAS LEFT SPEECHLESS. No apology. Nothing. Dr. Michael Lee. Fanny. And Dr Ali. I still have not gotten my $200 deposit back the front desk failed to write the check as well. The dentist also never came and talked to me after my daughters procedure. I've never ever once encountered staff like this. This was very traumatizing for my daughter and I. Do not bring your child here. Zero stars.

My children actually enjoy going to their appointments. I love that I am able to jump from one room to another when they are getting treatment, and I love that they make it so convenient for me to schedule their visits back to back.... Thank You Kidmazing!!
