Dr. Norma Reyes is originally from Stockton, California but is a Texan at heart. She received her Bachelor of Sciences in Biology degree from the University of the Pacific in 2003. She attended the University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry and graduated in 2007. Immediately following Dr. Reyes graduation, she decided to follow her true passion of treating children and moved to Denver, Colorado to complete a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at one of the premier childrens hospitals, The Childrens Hospital of Denver. She earned a pediatric specialty certificate from the University of Colorado Health Science Center in 2009 and received Board certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2010. Through her active involvement in the National Health Service Corps, Dr. Reyes accepted a position in Pleasanton, Texas. After working in public healthcare for two years, Dr. Reyes transitioned into private healthcare where she now specializes in the dental treatment of children of all ages and children with special needs. She has participated in numerous humanitarian medical/dental and cleft palate treatment missions within the United States and abroad. She has rendered dental care to children in Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. Dr. Reyes is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Association of Pediatric Dentistry, San Antonio Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the Greater San Antonio Hispanic Dental Association. She is past president of the Greater San Antonio Hispanic Dental Association and currently sits on the board. Dr. Reyes also sits on the board for the San Antonio Christian Dental clinic at Haven for Hope and is a graduate of the Alexander Briseno Leadership Development Program class of 2012. She is also a current member of the Junior League of San Antonio.
