Born in the Dominican Republic, Dr. Michel moved to Puerto Rico where she completed dental school at the University of Puerto Rico. She then came to New York City where she did both a general practice residency and pediatric dental residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital. She has been practicing pediatric dentistry for nine years and lives in Yonkers.
As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Michel specializes in helping your child's oral health and providing care in a comfortable, age-appropriate setting. She provides both routine and specialty oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and persons with special health care needs.
After four years of dental school, Dr. Michel completed two years of additional specialty training, which included in-depth experiences in preventive care, growth and development, behavior management techniques, treatment of traumatic injuries, and treatment using both sedation and general anesthesia. Dr. Michel is a board certified pediatric dentist diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentists.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Michel which was our first time visiting the office. And, I must say If I could give her 10 stars I would. I am not exaggerating she is amazing! She exceeded my expectations by all means. Dr. Michel is the best pediatric dentist we have visited from Yonkers. I have never meet any like her. My favorite part was she is not only professional but, she explained EVERYTHING to my daughter and myself perfectly. She even illustrated how she was going to fill in my daughter's molars to protect them as they are still growing. I have NEVER experienced dentistry like this before. I am happy to say we have found a new dentist and even more excited to say we are patients for life. Thank you Dr. Michel!!

This place has some super cute artwork in the dentistry theme. The [empty] waiting area looks nice and clean. As I was only walking by exploring my new town, I had no official business there. For that reason (not a patient), when I went in and *asked* to take a picture of the elephant in the waiting room, the receptionist told me no. (That's what I get for being polite. I should have just taken the picture and left without all the unnecessary courteousness.) For that minute reason, they lost themselves a potential customer and possible recommendations.

Took my 4 years old daughter here for the first time.Her and I absolutely loved it. The staff were welcoming and professional . The office is kids friendly which is a big plus since it's pediatrics. Their communication skills is beyond expectations. The registration process and waiting time was super fast ,I'm truly pleased. I highly recommended this dental office.

I was looking for a very good dentist office to take my three kids, it was a always a hit or miss but I decided to visit Dr Michel. She was very amazing, my children had the best time visiting her and are looking forward to seeing her again. She was very hospitable and interactive and yes I will be going back there again. I took my 1 year old there and Dr Michel sang her favorite song all through out the check up. My daughter was fascinated by it and before you knew it she was done. I also took my 2 other daughters there and they loved it. I can say that She's really good with kids and she was very hospitable as I mentioned earlier. The place was very clean and neat and that's something I always look for when visiting hospitals, it was incredibly clean which exceeded my expectations. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly, It didn't even feel like a hospital. I'm glad I had the opportunity to go visit her and take my kids because it was truly an amazing experience! Highly recommend

Wow! I have no words to describe how great this place is. The office is extremely clean and the doctor is awesome with kids. It was my daughters first time. She has never been able to sit through a dentist visit. The doctor has so much patience. She took her time to make sure my daughter was feeling comfortable. She also took care of my toddler and did and amazing job. We loved it here and will return, thank you!!
