Kid Smiles: Izzard Rudy DDS - General dentist in San Angelo, TX

Dr. Hinckley is a native of West Texas and has been treating patients for over 30 years 20 years treating adults and doing cosmetics and for the last 10 plus years he has limited his practice to children and teenagers.

Likely due to the 20 years of treating adults, Dr. Hinckley leans very practically relative to the type and amount of dental treatment a child needs to have completed. He and the staff do as much as they can to keep treatment and the time spent with them as lighthearted as a dental visit will allow. Since almost every staff member here has children, we understand where they are coming from (as much as that is possible) and try to gently direct them to a cleaner mouth and healthy teeth.

Dr. Brownings priority is your childs oral health and positive dental experiences! His focus is to educate patients and parents about preventing future oral health problems. Dr. Browning wants to provide new dental care knowledge, as well as reinforce existing knowledge. As a father of 2 children (and one grandchild) himself, he knows what it is like to be a parent doing your best to raise great humans and wants to help you succeed!

Dr. Browning is an avid outdoorsman, and when not at the office, enjoys fishing the local area lakes and maintaining a portion of his Great Grandfathers family homestead , dating from 1882. Dr. Browning plays guitar and enjoys performing arts and live music of all genres. He served as Troop committee chairman for twenty years and while in the troop he earned rank of Eagle Scout.

The dentist and the dental assistants are really nice but the office staff I have dealt with are rude. I had a balance of $43 left and I have been paying on the initial $63 for two months and I missed my may payment because we had a busy month and I just honestly forgot. I asked them today at my kids appointment if I could pay $10 and then I would pay the remaining $33 on Friday. They said the balance had to be paid in full before they could see the kids. Ok let's go back to the $63 balance. They did an xray on my daughter at their last appointment and did not tell us it was not covered under insurance because it hasn't been 3 years since she had her last one done at her old dentist. We got stuck with the bill even though we tried to fight it, but they wouldn't even try to make it right. I finally told them I could make $10 A month but then all of a sudden payments weren't good enough. They get one more chance and if we have issues again we are gone. It's sad that they seem to care more about money than their patients at least with their billing people anyway. It's not like we owed them buckoos of money.

Horrible practice! Bait and switch tactics. We called and inquired about a new patient exam for a suspected cavity in our son's tooth. They were happy to see him. Then, after we had the exam they informed us that they could not schedule us to actually have the cavity fixed until at least September, if not November. So, we are supposed to wait 6-8 months to get a cavity fixed? Seriously!? Terrible business practices. If you can't do the work, don't accept a new patient knowing you can only do the initial consult. We will NOT be returning to this joke of an dental practice.
