Dr. Chris grew up in Elmira, NY before moving to Brewerton, NY. He attended Paul V. Moore High School in Central Square, NY. Dr. Chris continued his education, graduating Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Oneonta with a degree in Biology. He also attended The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA and continued on to complete his pediatric specialty residency there as well. During his dental residency, Dr. Chris received advanced educational training in both Orthodontics and specialty training in mild to moderate conscious sedation for the pediatric and adolescent patients.
Dr. Chris is passionate about dentistry and keeps current in the profession through memberships to a myriad of dental organizations including: The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), The American Society of Forensic Odontology (ASFO), The American Dental Association (ADA), The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA), and The American Orthodontic Society (AOS).
Dr. Chris is also a member and former president (University of Pittsburgh Chapter) of The American Academy of Sports Dentistry and Traumatology. In addition, Dr. Chris has established pediatric board certification as a diplomate by The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). Further, he is a Forensic Odontologist at the Onondaga County Medical Examiners Office in Syracuse, NY and a member of the Onondaga County Dental Society (fifth district).
Count on Heather to greet you with a smile when you come into our office. You can be sure that she is always ready to help you out. She loves learning new things, playing games, and having fun with her two wonderful nephews and her fur baby King.
Dental Hygienist Hailey normally works just one day a week but is an integral part of the team at The Kid's Dentist. Hailey is very easy to know. She has a warm and engaging personality which puts both parents and kids at ease.
Rebecca joined our staff in 2015 and quickly became an integral part of our team. Her enthusiasm, gentle nature, and disposition is both appreciated and well received by patients and parents alike. When Rebecca is not working she enjoys spending time and being a mother to her two sons as well as hiking, camping, and kayaking.
Erin isa certified dental assistant with a degree in childhood education. She has been with us since 2013 and loves working with children. Not only did Erin go to high school with Dr. Chris, but she was also a patient here when she was little.
Tammy has been with us for almost 10 years. She has 2 beautiful girls at home. Her gentle nature and motherly instincts make her a great match for The Kids Dentist. Our little patients definitely feel comfy in her care. Tammy also went to high school with Dr. Chris and Erin.

We have been coming here since my kids were little. Well worth the drive! Certainly glad our old office referred us here! I'd like to mention, only since covid have I ever been told I can't go outback with my children. That has only been due to the limits of covid. Otherwise the hygienist my kids have been seeing since before we started coming here and I fully trust her with my children. Staff is normally decent, never had an issue discussing things with the dentist himself. Front desk can be tense at times, otherwise no issues overall.

The dentists themseves are great...but their cost is astronomical. We have Ameritas which covers cleanings and preventatives at 100%; they take our insurance but out of network and we just had a $450 bill for 2 kids' cleanings and regular xrays...after insurance. We called Ameritas and they said the dentists' fee schedule is far higher than normal. They also don't do a good job of telling you ahead of time how much it will cost, so we got this as a total surprise.

Had another great experience here! Timur was a great hygienist and did an outstanding job. Great personality and extremely competent. Dr Chris was amazing, as usual. Love this place and say with certainty that it is the ONLY PLACE I would recommend in all of Central New York for pediatric dentistry.

Seriously the best dental experience for kids and parents around! They make my son feel at ease, answer all of his questions and provide terrific feedback to me after the visit. Their COVID protocols make me feel safe - even in these trying times the Kid's Dentist never disappoints!

We LOVE Dr. Chris and his team. Our kiddo had two teeth extracted yesterday and it could not have gone better. I was so impressed with how patient and compassionate they were. As a worried mom, I also appreciated that Dr. Chris came out to speak to me about what the plan was before they did the procedure. Every visit is quick and easy, and I recommend them to everyone I know!

THE BEST DENTIST AND STAFF AROUND! My 3 kids have been going here since they turned 3 and they still argue in the car who gets to go first! Dr. Chris and Rebecca are absolutely amazing with them! I wish they took adult patients! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!

My 3 year old was very very nervous. Rebecca was phenomenal! So gentle, patient, and calm. She really could read my stubborn little one and knew how to entice her to get the cleaning done quickly but calmly so she felt at ease. I could not possibly be happier!
