I have had a really good experience and it's probably why I continue to stay with them, both my children have been with this office since they started school. My daughter is in middle school now and son is in the 4th grade so it's been awhile as you can see they are very familiar with my children. The staff is professional, kind and courteous always have listened to my concerns and have given my children the care they needed. I am very pleased with the service at Kid's Choice Dental in Puyallup, WA.

I'm so happy I found a place that is very accommodating to my 10 year old autistic child. They are extremely sweet, kind, patient and very understanding. Highly recommend!

I thought they are working kindly and happily. I concerned about anesthesia. But I'm pretty comfortable because of their explanation and supervision.

Everyone was kind and professional. The doctors took time to ensure I knew everything that was going to happen and to make my son feel comfortable. They were also great at giving us updates as they found any issues. Wonderful staff.

My son is 10 still scared of the dentist. Because of past experience. The staff is very friendly, lots of patience. And work great with the kids. I highly recommend them specially if your little one is not a fan of the dentist.

I really wish we didn't come there. They cram everyone in at once for a 8am appointment when we got there as the first ones we saw others start to show up at the same time. It was a all female staff and it felt uncomfortable for our son to be there. We felt a feminist vibe. In addition to this the front desk staff is clueless and couldn't call out insurance company to use the right code but instead denied is and said we would have to pay cash. My son is autistic and we don't have time for their lack of organization. All this was explained in advance to them.

All of the staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The wait time was way too long, 1.5 hours after the committed appointment time. Overall a good experience. Also this was at the Tukwila location.

Horrible experience, I guess I talked to the headquarters lady in Puyallup for an appointment. This was my son's visit to a dentist. I told them that he was autistic and doesn't like people in his mouth or his area, the lady was nice and planned for us to be in the treatment room and not in the bay for the first visit. When my son and I go there they put us in the bay with a little girl next to us and as I predicted my son did want anyone near his mouth or wanted to sit still. He had a calcium build-up on his lower front 4 teeth. I could not believe that I had to hold my son's legs and arms, while the doctor held his head and scrapped the calcium build-up on his lower teeth. As my son screamed and cried. I was almost in tears as well because as a parent this isn't supposed to happen. Holding my son down while he is screaming and crying looking me in the eyes. Knowing he is nonverbal, this was painful to be apart of and witness. They didn't listen, he was just a number and he will not forget this place like his doctor's office when we had to get him a covid test numerous times in 2020. They lost the paperwork and I had to redo it for some reason they need the card number of the insurance card when I gave it to them and it was approved by my insurance. Tukwila is unorganized and doesn't respect the patient's needs. Look for another place to go to for your kids. This place is a joke. ---UPDATE-- They advertise as a academic dental clinic and have no problem down grading you issues and arent willing to work around kids with special needs. The Assistant was good, the Dr was rude and rough and had no patience for not my child but other children.

they are extremely rude! and they told me my other daughter needed to go under anesthesia for a cavity I went to a different dentist to get a second opinion and she said that she definitely doesnt need to go under anesthesia so we went with her at the center of childrens dentistry in puyallup and loved it there....then my other daughter went to kids choice dentist for a tiny filling the dentist told me before booking that it was so small that they wouldnt even have to numb it! then at her appointment they said they needed to give her some nitrogen to help numb just a bit but they would not be needing to give her a shot, well then the dentist snuck the shot into my daughters mouth and jabbed her without even telling any of us he was going to because my daughter jumped and started crying he proceeded to say that he needs to do something else now and my husband said absolutely not we are leaving and left! this place is horrible!

Dr Ellen did an amazing job. My daughter is extremely skittish to go to the dentist. Dr Ellen was able to remove the cavity and do the crown quickly and without novacaine. If we have more work done, we will ask for Dr Ellen, as she now has the trust of my 8 year old.

This place is amazing. They definitely are very considerate towards the parents concerns. They are very experienced with having kids for patients. They understand and know how to assist children, especially the nervous ones. My 1 and 3 year old were very scared and fought to the end, and this was only a check-up, yet the dentist and her assistant didn't seem fazed. They showed kindness and patients, they spoke to my kids with respect and understanding. I had to bring both back to get work done on their teeth, and because they're so young and nervous, they had to go under anesthesia. As terrifying as that was, all of the staff kept me in the loop and help assure me the procedures were going well and they all were very professional and ready to answer any of my concerns. The Federal Way ABC Children Dental blows all compiltion out of the water in my eyes. I found a hidden gem here and I definitely want to share it with everyone.

I'm sharing my sons story in hopes it will help another child avoid such a traumatic experience. We were referred here for my almost 7 yr old to have a baby root canal. The first appt was the consult. A male dentist came to the communal chairs we were seated in, didnt introduce himself or say anything other than to ask me when his tooth was last filled, and walk away again. Thankfully (or so I thought), they had a cancelation for a root canal that afternoon so we booked that and came back later that afternoon. That's where things went very, very bad. Back story on my kid... hes great with dental work! Hes been numbed plenty of times for some deep fillings, has never complained about pain during dental work and barely bats an eye at the numbing shots due to the gas. Hes usually happy during dental treatment! The assistance took us back and got my son into the chair and hooked up to the gas. She was pretty good with him. THen a few minutes later she applied a glob of the numbing gel on a qtip thing, but didnt smear it around or do anything with it really. Let it sit there and then soon after the dentist (still dont know his name because he never introduced himself or spoke with me, again) was there to numb him up. He didnt speak to my son. He didnt put him at ease. My son screamed during the shots. No one had bothered to really rub the topical in, and the gas clearly wasnt doing its job... After he numbed him up, the dentist left without a word. While he was gone (only for a few minutes) my son continued to cry and told me and the assistant that his tooth still hurt. His TOOTH still hurt. They disregarded this, and soon after the dentist was back to begin. He told the assistance to turn the gas down (WHAT!?) and he got right to work... aggressively. As my son screamed. And shook. And the tears never stopped. Flinching at the pain from being drilled into for a root canal, without being numbed. I REPEATEDLY told the dentist something wasnt right, I explained he has had dental work, he doesnt complain of pain that isnt there, hes not numb. But I was met with him dismissing me and saying that he is numb, its just the pressure. Or its just the bite block causing discomfort. I said many times hes in pain and they NEVER stopped. They never took a break. They never considered that he may need an extra shot and that he is in fact, not numb. They tortured my kid for the length of a root canal, and kept trying to distract him with the promise of a popsicle when he was done. The dentist finished what he had to do, roughly and without care. And then he left. No words to me. No words to my kid. Once the assistant gave us the okay we got out of there, I couldnt stay another moment. Torture. Traumatizing. I would never, ever return to this place. And I would recommend you never step foot in here. They dont care about your child, or what you as a parent have to say. They dont care how much pain someone is in. They simply dont care.

I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. She helped me with the new clients setup for my grandson. The dental assistant was a win!!

The dentist and staff that worked on my son today did a great job. They made him comfortable and was very gentle with the taking his 2 teeth out. This was one of the best visits we have had and with no tears from my son is what topped it off. Thank you again for a great experience!!
