Dr. Htet Htet, D.M.D. was born and raised in Rangoon, Burma. She attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where she received a presidential academic scholarship. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was nominated as a valedictorian in 1996. She also received an outstanding student gold medal.
In 2000, she worked as a research assistant in the oral medicine department at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. In 2001 she was accepted to a DMD program at Tufts University and was awarded a presidential academic scholarship. She ranked in the top 12 percent of the graduating class of 2005.
Dr. Htet finished her general practice residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2006. Dr. Htet completed her pediatric dentistry specialty program at Tufts University in 2009. She then entered private practice.
Dr. Cheen Loo is a professor, chair and postdoctoral program director in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry in TUSDM. Cheen Loo received her BDS and PhD from the University of Sydney, Australia. She completed her MPH and certificate in pediatric dentistry at Boston University and her DMD at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM).
She is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). Dr. Loo is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the Academy of Dental Education Association. She is a member of the executive committee of the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Examination Subcommittee of the ABPD.
Dr.Shari Matthews, D.M.Dhas been practicing all aspects of dentistry in his highly successful Manchester, CT, practice since 2006. His pursuit of constant and never-ending improvement has led him to continuing education classes all over the world, where he spends much of his time studying aesthetics, implant surgery and bone regeneration.
Dr. Matthews No. 1 goal is to provide quality personalized care as he understands that each patient is an individual with their own unique needs. While he enjoys performing cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, he strongly feels that preventative dentistry is the foundation of all dental care.

We have been going here for years now. Dr. Htet is awesome she makes sure our child is at ease with him experience. Would highly recommend them to anyone with kids.

I've been at this practice since I was a child, even when Dr. Thet, her assistant, and hygienists took over I have had nothing but positive experiences here. They are very personal and sensitive. I will recommend this Dentistry ever time. 10/10!

Kidcare dental was great with my son. It was his first time so we were both pretty nervous. Staff and dentist knew everything to do to put us at ease and make it through the cleaning. Thanks so very much!

Everytime i call for an appt it is far out book regardless of the situation , they don't try to accommodate with your schedule what so ever. When a situation happens where the child is in pain there should be same day appts for this situation , but they rather leave your child in pain for days. if i could give one star i would !

Are visit was good very efficient time wise. I think I was the most nervous, but Kid Care Dental took every measure to assure safe practice during these difficult Covid times! Overall a good visit

Incredible staff! My 18m old son chipped his front tooth and I was nearly in tears over it. They were able to file it down quickly and beautifully to where it's hardly noticeable. I know they're only baby teeth but I love his toothy smile and because of them I'll be able to enjoy it until they fall out...or at least until he falls and chips another lol. Thank you Kid Care!!

My 7 year old loves going to the dentist. He actually gets excited for it so when I told him to get ready yesterday for a dentist appointment it was no different. He had sealants put on his back molars and I waited in the car due to Covid. When he was brought to the car I was told he did it went well and that "he said it hurt but it was probably that he had to keep his mouth open a long time." My son said "whatever it was I hated it!" I laughed it off but in the car he said "She had to use a laser to help the stuff stuck to my teeth and she said it wouldn't hurt but it did." The. He told me he was making sounds of pain and discomfort when the dentist or hygienist (I'm not sure who performs this procedure) said in a mean voice "ENOUGH!" so he said "I stopped but it made me want to cry." My son would not make this up and is not a liar. Needless to say I was shocked and do not plan on returning. To scare an already scared child at a pediatric dentist is unforgivable.
