Keith K. Khuu, D.D.S. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of California at Berkeley in 1994. He then went on to University of Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1998. Dr. Khuu is also a graduate of the American Academy of implant Dentistry/Loma Linda University Maxicourse in Implant Dentistry. Dr. Khuu is certified by the California Dental Board and has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in the Bay Area since 1998.
Dr. Khuu is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Khuu is committed to excellent dental care and technologies that will benefit the patients. He continues to improve his clinical skills through continuing education courses.
Khuu Dentistry was founded in 2010 by Keith K. Khuu, D.D.S. with the vision of creating a dental practice that focuses on building a relationship with eachpatient so both the doctor and the patient can find the best dental treatments that fit each individual patient. We recognize each patient has distinctive needs and want to listen to his/her concern before recommending treatment. I'm normally pretty indifferent about dentists, but I actually really enjoyed visiting this dentist office. The dentist was calm, professional, and really took his time to clean your teeth. Normally when they're cleaning with the metal tools they slip a little bit and accidentally poke you a bit too hard in some areas, but I felt like this never happened with him. He was always so precise with his movements, didn't try to hold a conversation with you when you couldn't speak, and never tried to upsell me on anything. I can really only speak for x-rays and cleanings, but I would recommend him.

I have had great experiences with Dr. Khuu and Khuu dentistry since moving to Mtn View. The appointments are on-time and easy to schedule, the office is nice, and I'm back in the chair quickly. Dr. Khuu is a really nice person and dentist, and my regular check-ups have gone pleasantly. I would highly recommend Khuu Dentistry to anyone in the area.

Once upon a time back in 2018, I started having really nasty tooth aches due to a wisdom teeth issue. I continued to procrastinate like most living people out of sheer fear of getting a wisdom tooth extracted [that too 4 of them]. Years later after moving to the West Coast, I took a leap of faith and decided to visit Dr. Khu upon reading great reviews on Google/ Yelp and ZocDoc. My primary deal breaker with any doctor is any form of passive aggression or force and Dr. Khu was a remarkable change from most dentists I've visited during my lifetime in the US. Dr. Khu asked me to get an X-ray, called me in for a 30 minute session and went over the details in a clear and eloquent manner. He gave me a crystal clear estimate of how much time would the extraction take [30 minutes], how many days would I feel pain for [24 hours] and how much pain would I feel [soreness]. He even left it up to me and called out that the extraction could be delayed without further issues which was refreshing to see. I went ahead with the extraction and believe it or not and I wasn't met with any nasty surprises through the next 24 hours. Every single aspect mentioned by him regarding the extraction was true and that made a huge difference. I'm fairly certain that I'm coming back again for getting my other tooth extracted as well. If Dr. Khu's demeanor won't calm you down, the soothing Jazz playlists playing in his clinic surely will :-).

Love this place. Dr Khuu saw that I had a slightly cracked tooth on X-ray and sent me to get a root canal at a super nice place in Palo Alto, watched Netflix the whole time and even laughed. He's very caring and always does a great job for a reasonable price.

Dr Khuu is simply excellent - kind and gentle mannered, he works carefully and thoroughly on the teeth - whether in examination or cleaning. He also explains the situation and options available very nicely. My go to dentist.

Dr. Khuu is awesome. He tells you exactly how much it is going to cost before he treats you. He gives treatment suggestions for you to pick from and is very polite and nice to me. His assistants and Richard are very nice as well. I feel comfortable to understand that he tries everything for me not to feel pain. Honestly, I don't know who is better, Dr. Bavafa (from Berkeley - yes, too far and that's why I had to change) or him. I am so happy to finally find my dentist :) I have gone to him 6 times, finished my treatments and also did a teeth whitening at the end just the way I wanted to. I received my total bill and they were off by 36 dollars on the entire treatment (that's very good). No surprises on prices I had to pay before treatment. Your cost will vary very slightly if it will. I am so happy to have found my dentist! Next semester's appointment is already scheduled :)
