Due to medical reasons, I was in and out of the dental office a lot when I was younger. The staff at the office always helped and encouraged me. I wanted to help others receive the exceptional care that this office gave to me.
I am determined to make unwanted dental visits (no one ever likes the dentist) an exceptional and comfortable experience. I do this by striving to make people feel comfortable, educated, and important!
We expend all of our time and energy serving up breathtaking smiles to our patients. We combine five-star customer service with our hometown hospitality to create a warm, family-style atmosphere. When you visit, you can enjoy:
We are known as an all under one roof office because of the broad range of dental treatments we can provide. Dr. Kinney has a real depth of knowledge and training that allows him to carry out both simple and complex procedures. These include:
'I like to use the WIDIOM acronym I learned from one of my mentors, Dr. Peter Dawson. This means, Would I Do It On Me? This helps bring clarity to solving dental problems and makes sure you get the best possible care.'
I graduated from high school in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Indianapolis shortly thereafter. This has been my home since 1974 except for the three years I was in the Air Force Dental Corps at Langley AFB Virginia.
My wife, Lois, and I have been married for more than 38 years and have three children and two grandchildren. They are the joy of my life. Faith and family have always been at the center of my life, and my dental practice is an extension of that core.
For me, dentistry is like a hobby I get to use to help people. I am glad I can still say that Im excited to get up every day and go to work. It is fun to work with a team who is like-minded and genuinely wants to serve the needs of others with skill and compassion.
I am passionate about people and the incredible value and potential that lies within us all. Being responsible for a persons healthcare is a sacred trust, which is the foundation of my philosophy of excellence and total patient care.

As a form of conscious sedation, nitrous oxide is inhaled through a small mask that fits comfortably over your nose. In just a few minutes, you may start to experience a floating sensation, and perhaps some tingling in the hands and feet. Thats a sign the sedation is working.
Once it has been verified that youre calm and comfortable and that the dose is correct, your dental procedure can begin. This form of sedation is ideal for children, those with mild anxiety, or patients who struggle to sit in the chair for lengthy procedures.
