Key E Stanton DDS

1107 Indiana St, Graham, TX 76450

I love going on the orthodontic journey with my patients. Whether Im working with a teenager whos maturing and getting ready for college, or caring for a grandmother who decided to have treatment after seeing how well her grandchilds smile turned out, Im there to help and support.

Each person who opts for orthodontic treatment chooses to make a lasting, positive change in their life. They often start treatment ashamed of crooked teeth, or gaps between teeth;hiding their smile and feeling self-conscious around others. As a person sees their teeth gradually shift into correct position, they see their smile change. With that change comes a greater comfort in their appearance and a growth in self-esteem. By the time a patient finishes, they have a breathtaking smile and a completely new outlook on life! As an orthodontist, Im part of transforming peoples smiles and their lives. I cant imagine anything better!

Growing up with Dr. Key as my father, I always knew I wanted to work in oral healthcare. He is well-respected in our community and a great father. He was always there for dance recitals and sporting events, having a well-balanced and fulfilled life.

Im proud to be continuing my familys legacy of providing dental and orthodontic care in Young County. I follow in the footsteps of my great grandfather, Dr. Fern Robertson, my great uncle, Dr. Joe Robertson, and my father, Dr. E. Stanton Key.

Continuing education is essential to providing the best care and results for my patients. My training in San Antonio included working with patients of all ages; Ihandledjaw surgery, cleft lip and palate, and multidisciplinary cases. Im committed to continuing to learn, and expanding my knowledge and skills. My patients deserve nothing less!

I grew up in Graham and, except forelevenyears in Austin andSan Antonio for my studies, have always lived here. My husband, Dr. Brian Hill, and I met in dental school. Hes a general dentist here in town. We have two young children now, a boy and a girl.

When Im not caring for patients, I love spending time with my family. We enjoy listening to music, dancing and being silly. In the warmer months we try to spend time at Possum Kingdom Lake with friends and family. Its great to have such a wonderful lake so close.

I have been blessed to work in a profession that helps people in a very tangible way. To watch young people grow up into beautiful young adults with confident smiles, and to help parents and grandparents achieve the amazing smile theyve always wanted, is rewarding. Im not sure how many lives Ive touched in the 35 years Ive been an orthodontist, but I do know each person was important to me and I wanted to do the best I could for them.

Its incredible to spend my days helping people develop their healthiest, most beautiful smileand getting to know them at the same time. Our patients and families are some of the best people in the world. I enjoy our conversations and sharing in their lives. Whether were talking about school, work, sports, or hobbies, Im always learning something new and love that. I assist my friends achieve a lifetime of smiles they love;what could be better?

My grandfather, Dr. Fern Robertson, was a big influence on my decision to go into oral healthcare. He was a dentist for more than 50 years in Olney. Im pleased that my daughter, Dr. Meredith Key Hill, has decided to join the practice, and continueour family legacy.

After graduating from dental school, I practiced general dentistry for four years here in Graham. I met an orthodontist, Dr. Ed Pitt, who let me observe his practice, and I instantly fell in love with orthodontics and knew I had to make a change. I applied to the orthodontic program at UT Houston and have never regretted the decision.

After practicing for 35 years, Ive seen a lot of changes in orthodontics. It is my duty to stay uptodate with the latest techniques and how they could benefit my patients. I want to learn about advances in orthodontics so I can offer patients the most modern and proven treatment possible.

I was raised in the small farming community of Munday. My father was a farmer and rancher, so my weekends and summers were spent working cattle and driving a tractor. I moved to Graham in 1975 to establish my dental practice and returned in 1981 after finishing my orthodontic education.

When the weekend comes around, Im usually out at our lake cabin. Im often with my wife, Christine, and family: our two daughters, Jessica and Meredith, and fivegrandchildren, Trey,Marjorie, Harrison,Eleanora, and Cora. I also enjoy playing golf and have an old 1972 pickup that occasionally requires my attention.
