Dr. Spees is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry and has been a practicing dentist since 1989. After dental school, he completed training at The Dawson Institute for Occlusal Equilibration and the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. He has also had advanced cosmetic training from Dr. David Hornbrook of Extreme Makeover and Dr. Larry Rosenthal, known as New York Citys Celebrity Dentist.
Born and raised in Zionsville, Dr. Spees is a second-generation dentist. His father, Dr. Donald Spees, practiced dentistry for 40 years, retiring in 1994. His mother, Jerrie, was a teacher and guidance counselor in the Zionsville School system for 20 years. Dr. Spees is married to Shelley and they have two children, Megan and Connor.
Dr. Kevin Spees was born and raised in Zionsville where he attended and graduated from Zionsville Community High School. After graduation, he continued his studies at Indiana University Purdue University at Fort Wayne, in Indiana. There he received the Jelenko Award for Excellence. Soon afterward, he graduated with an Associate's Degree in Dental Laboratory Technology.
He worked in a laboratory for one year before starting at IUPUI to complete his dental school prerequisites. In 1985 he began his professional dental studies at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
After graduating from dental school in 1989, Dr. Spees joined his father Dr. Donald Spees at his dental practice in the town of Zionsville. He practiced dentistry with his father for five years before his father retired. At retirement, Dr. Donald Spees had practiced his trade for 40 years in Zionsville.
Dr. Brauer owns and operates Poplar Pediatric Dentistry out of Dr. Spees space. Dr. Brauer and her team treat all infants, children, and adolescents -- including those who are medically compromised, anxious or have special health care needs.

Went to Dr. Spees' office today, and as always it was as pleasant as a dental visit can be! He always speaks with kindness and care. He is thorough in the exam and in explaining what's happening. His staff is also wonderful... professional yet kind. Find it comforting to have someone I trust!

Extremely disappointed! I went to Kevin Spees Dentistry to get a lot of dental work done. At first glance they seem nice, professional, and knowledgeable. After my initial appointment, I was told they will run paperwork through my insurance and will give me a call... I have never received any calls, text, emails... guess they don't need my business that bad. Unprofessional!

I have been a patient for a couple of years. During this time, I have had multiple cleanings, fillings, some partial and complete crowns. My experience has been very positive. I especially like the one appointment crowns. Dr. Spees designs and manufactures the replacement crown while you wait eliminating the need for another appointment. You can expect a call from him that evening to follow up on the procedure. Coming from a business background and being a former president of a company, I appreciate the business like customer excellence approach. You are treated like a customer whose business is appreciated. For example, you aren't left sitting in the waiting room because of an overbooked schedule, the staff is very friendly and polite, and it's obvious Dr. Spees is investing in modern equipment to remain efficient and competitive while providing excellent care. This business type approach coupled with excellent dentistry and personal attention make for a pleasant experience. Last, I don't know how he does it but even the numbing shots don't hurt or sting!

He & his staff are always courtesy & makes you feel comfortable. Have had teeth pulled, multiply fillings, & a crown. Getting your teeth cleaned & checked is great too. Excellent hygienist. He is the only dentist that has ever called me @ home to see how I was doing. He follows up with his patients. Great Job! Dentist Spees! Your Awesome!

had an excellent experience at Speed dentistry. would highly recommend as your dentist. Dr, Spees took the time to explain everything and was very thorough. been to many dentists and no one has looked into my discolored tooth except for Dr. Spees and also took the time to check to see if there were any evidence of nerve damage. Staff was very helpful and polite. Even took the time to reschedule my appointment sooner and called me to do so. I would use recommend Spees family dentistry

I just left the office and could not wait to spread the word about what a wonderful experience I had. I have a great deal of anxiety around dentist due to childhood trauma. Dr. Spees and his staff put me right at ease. They are so very gentle and caring. There was no pain involved in the procedure. They are absolutely amazing!

We recently moved to the Lebanon area and had not yet established a dentist. I broke a tooth and was in a emergency situation. I called and spoke to Kendra at the desk who understood my situation and worked me as quick as possible which was the very next (called late afternoon). Dr. Spees was very knowledgeable and allowed me to make the decision in regards to my dental situation. He explained the pro/con of extraction versus root canal and cap. I made my decision and within 30 minutes had a pain free extraction. Dr. Spees will be my family Dentist from now forward.

Dr. Kevin Spies is very kind and professional, wanting the best for his patience. He has updated equipment and technology. Vicky is very good and knowledgeable assistant. The staff make you feel at home. I had to have new crowns and a new partial made. He did a wonderful job. People notice my new smile. I had a lot of complements over the Christmas Season.
