Dr. Sorge is a graduate of State University of New York College at Brockport where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology and health science as well as his Master of Science in biology/immunology from SUNY Brockport and George Mason University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the School of Dental Medicine University at Buffalo. In addition to his private practice, he has worked for New York State Department of Correctional & Community Services at their Mid-State Correctional Facility where he was responsible for providing dental care to residents of the facility. Early in his career, Dr. Sorge spent six years with Oneida Dental Group in Oneida, NY; four years with a private practice in St. Johnsbury, VT; and a year with a private practice in Buffalo, NY. His experience includes working as an Assistant Clinical Instructor at Erie County Medical Center, undergraduate research experience at University at Buffalo and a pediatric externship at Childrens Hospital. He is a member of American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Sorge and his wife, Dr. Margaret Madonian, also a dentist, are residents of Manlius, NY.

Best dentist I have had in my whole life. Honest, conscientious, and has the best work ethics. His advice is for the good of the patient and not what is profitable for him. This is not the case with other dentists I have had before. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Sorge has been my dentist for the better part of 30 years. He has been consistently wonderful as a dentist and an even better person. It's a small, personal experience every time. The staff is consistent, and you always see Dr.Sorge, heck, he even personally does the cleanings! I wouldn't even consider another practice and if I could give 6 stars I would.

Dr. Sorge is the best dentist I've ever been to in my life. He's caring, extremely gentle, the office staff is amazing and there's nothing at all I would change. He ALWAYS makes sure I'm totally comfortable before he does any procedure and that I understand everything that's happening. Truly the absolute best. Highly recommended!!!!!!

I visited Dr. Sorge after having a poor experience at another dentist's office in the area and I'm so glad I did. Everyone from the front desk staff to the hygienist were extremely friendly and welcoming. Dr. Sorge did a thorough exam and took time to answer all of my questions. I felt very comfortable and not at all rushed. Would highly recommend this office to everyone.

Dr. Sorge is the best dentist I've ever been to in my life. He's caring, extremely gentle, the office staff is amazing and there's nothing at all I would change. There are four reasons I highly recommend the Sorge dental office: 1. Dr. Sorge is a highly skilled technical practitioner whether for simple filling or a more complex procedure. 2. Dr. Sorge is highly knowledgeable beyond technical practice and s excellent at problem solving regarding medical concerns seemingly but not actually dental. And he will bring in other expertise when appropriate. 3. He hires people who know what they are doing and do it well. 4. Finally, it's a cool place to go to, always leave with a laugh and smile.

Best DENTIST in the syracuse area, Dr. Sorge did a four unit bridge on me, at first I was worried about how it would feel and look but Dr. Sorge and his staff put all my worries to rest and the end result was more than I had ever thought it would be, two years since I got the bridge and it looks and feels like the real thing. I would definitely recommend Dr.Sorge to anyone who is looking to better there dental and overall health.
