Dr. Friedman graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1979, and has now been practicing dentistry for over 35 years. Dr. Friedman prides himself on his extensive continuing education courses that he takes each year, which allow him to keep updated on the latest equipment and procedures in all facets of dentistry.
One thing youll notice about Dr. Friedman from the first time you walk through his office door is his friendly personality and unmatched chairside manner. Patients young and old absolutely love his sense of humor! In fact, both existing patients and new patients tell Dr. Friedman how they always feel right at home when they come to see him.In addition to his warm personality, Dr. Friedman is also a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Queens County Dental Society. Recently, Dr. Friedman also won the Glendale Chamber of Commerce award for the renovation of his dental office building.

I had a consultation and at the time I didn't have insurance. So it was self pay. The dentist told me I had 6 cavities that needed to be done along with a whole bunch of other work. So then I waited til I got insurance and saw another dentist. It turns out I had no cavities. Then a year later I went to see another dentist. Guest what? No cavities again or work that needed to be done. Would you look at that.

No cavities again or work that needed to be done. Would you look at that.

The dental hygienist is really great, however, that's the only redeeming part of my experience in this office. While prepping for a crown, Dr. Friedman dropped the drill into my mouth, causing a very large hole to be drilled into the underside of my tongue. There was a shocking amount of blood, and his only response was "nobody has ever died from this." After I stopped bleeding, he sent me on my way and said to rinse using salt water if I was in pain. After seeing the wound, I immediately went to urgent care, and was prescribed antibiotics which were not given to me at the dentists office. After calling to cancel my following appointment, I was told by him that he would refund my bill. It has taken me two weeks to finally get a refund. Awful experience was made worse by the way he handled it, and would advice anybody to avoid his office.

Just had a filling in less than 15 minutes- I'm generally terrified of the dentist but he told me every minute what was happening and how much longer the procedure would last. Honestly the best dentist I've ever been to.

I give three stars cause the doctor is really nice but I think at times he rushes his work also I did a root canal and I know he suppose to put a permanent filling until I'm ready to do the crown and (I know this cause I had root canal before and they did the permanent filling also I know of persons that did root canal that got the permanent,also I looked it up on YouTube),how ever he put the temporary not a permanent . So I ask how long the temporary filling suppose to last his response was it will last sometime once u don't eat nothing too hard on it. Also he broke the procedure down into two parts, so when I go back to do the second part he ask if everything was ok with the tooth. I replied and said every morning I wake I can't bite on that side cause it hurt, his reply was that's expected . I don't how that's expected when that's the problem I was having with the tooth before he did the root canal. However he said he grind down the tooth so when I bite down I wouldn't feel the sensitivity, mind you doing a root canal is taking the nerve out the tooth so that tooth shouldn't have NO TYPE OF PAIN OR FEELINGS. Next thing when I left there after the first part of the procedure I was in so much pain and my father had to call them and ask why they did not prescribe some medication that's when they decided to call it by the pharmacy. Moving on after the procedure I when to pay I give the secretary my bank card in her hand and she swiped it then throw it back on the counter, which I think was rude she also did the same thing with the receipt. My first couple visits there was good but yesterday was my last, I'm very disappointed.

Dr. Friedman is great! I would highly recommend him to anyone and I have! I've been going to him for years and will continue to do so. He is always quick and efficient and that's what you need from a dentist. It's always a pleasure talking to Teresa and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

This is a great dentist. My boyfriends mom sent me here after I swore off dentists years ago. Immediately I felt comfortable. Dr Friedman is friendly and knowledgeable and I feel confident that I will get good dental care when I come here. The woman at the front desk is a peach she is so helpful and sweet.

The epitome of professionalism, the staff at Friedman Family Dental work with you to improve your dental health. The care and service doesn't stop at the office, they call in to follow through with you before and after every appointment. I don't think I could go anywhere else for dental work after coming here.
