After earning an undergraduate degree atPenn State,Dr. Laboskygraduated with his DMD fromTemple University School of Dentistryin 1997. He worked as an associate dentist for seven years, then opened his private practice in 2004 inState College. Today,Dr. Laboskyand his team serve patients of all ages withcompassion and high quality dental care.
A lifelong learner,Dr. Laboskycompletes extensive continuing education each year. He holds membership with theAmerican Dental Association, thePennsylvania Dental Association, and Centre Dental Society. He is also a member of theOKU Honorary Dental Society. To give back to the community,Dr. Laboskyvolunteers at local nursing homes.
Dr. Labosky'swife, Tanya, graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry, as well. The doctors have two sons, Andrew and Matthew, also a daughter Natalie.Dr. Kevin Laboskyenjoys time with his boys, skiing, fishing, and hunting. He also gets in a round of golf whenever time allows.
Chelsea attended the Pennsylvania College of Technology, where she also continues classes toward her Bachelor of Science degree. She enjoys educating her patients about oral hygiene. When not at work she loves to be outdoors, spend time with her dog, and cook.
During dental procedures, Misty works chairside withDr. Labosky, providing assistance and making patients feel comfortable. She maintains strict sterilization procedures and holds certification in radiography. Misty's been with our team since 2004 whenDr. Laboskyopened the office. She enjoys furthering her education with CEs each year, and she volunteers with the doctor at local nursing homes. Misty is a people person, and our patients love her just as much as she loves them!
Erins career in the dental field covers well over two decades so far! She studied at Medix Allied Health School in Atlanta. What she enjoys most about her job is being able to answer any questions patients may have about their treatment plans and/or dental insurance, helping them have a more pleasant care experience as a result. When she isnt busy at work, her favorite hobbies include gardening, watching Penn State football, and spending quality time with family and friends.

This place is phenomenal. I'm from out of town and only in the area for work. I had a dental issue come up, and they were able to fit me in in a timely manner and get me seen and taken care of quickly and efficiently. The staff and Dr. Labosky were very welcoming and professional. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Kevin for years and cannot say enough about the level of care I have received. Great dentist and the attention to detail is top notch. My family and I have been patients for over 15 years and have referred lots of friends to him. Great dentist,, great guy, and the office is really nice as well.

I did not use my real name to post the review. Like their reply, they have all customers' records, including the physical address. So how can I use my real face here? I was new in the area and asked the cashier at the Pediatric Dental Office to refer me an adult dentist, and got the name. I went to the office and did the x ray and they said that the teeth cleaning need to be done by a second visit, which surprised me because I always did both together. And the doctor said that I had a small cavity. He said that by using lots of medical words, which made me dizzy. And he also said that I can do a lot to correct my tooth. Maybe I asked about brace, and maybe not. But he did confirm that I had cavity. I went to another dentist and did the teeth cleaning. And I asked about my cavity. She said, " No, you don't have any". I insisted that some dentist said that ....bla bla bla... and she laughed and said that do you need I create one.... It happened 2014 or 2015. I just checked my review today and saw their reply and felt so ugly. There is only two reasons for that - one is the dentist tried to cheat me and make money. And the second is that the dentist is not professional and made a mistake. Which reason you want to take? I earned nothing by sharing my review. Just said my experience.

Dr. Labosky, a very kind person, is an expert dentist. He listens carefully to his patients, thinks of all possible ways to treat a problem, and works quickly and precisely. He has an expert staff, all of whom work well together, his office is quiet, and it is not hard to get an appointment. Dr. Labosky, interestingly, studied materials science and engineering at Penn State. His patients can be sure he is using the best, longest-lasting, and most suitable materials for their dental work. I still go to Dr. Labosky even though I no longer live in State College.

Dr. Labosky has been our family dentist since 2004. I had asked around and was recommended to Dr. Labosky. My husband was not a fan of dentists before going to Dr. Labosky. Now he looks forward to his dentist appointments. All of my cleanings and examinations are very gentle and my teeth are all smooth and tartar free afterward. He really focuses on preventative measures like brushing techniques and breaking thumb sucking habits to prevent cavities and braces. He watches trouble spots instead of just treating them as cavities right away. Once my oldest son's canine tooth fell out and we thought it was an adult tooth. We called the emergency line on the weekend and Dr. Labosky called right away and said not to worry it was a baby tooth. He was right and I remember him telling us that at the last appointment. Misty and Kathy are also always a pleasure and very accommodating especially when I bring all of our kids in for their appointment. Dr. Labosky is the best dentist we have ever been too.

Pushing me to do bracing again, and saying that I have a little cavity that can not be found through X-ray. But I got a second opnion that I don't have. Even about teeth cleaning, he wanted me to do more.
