Kevin Ortale, DDS, PLC, is a family and cosmetic dentist with more than 22 years of experience working with children and adults. Dr. Ortale is passionate about providing personalized, effective, high-quality care to his patients and currently serves the Phoenix, Arizona, community at his practice.
Born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, Dr. Ortale realized he wanted to be a dentist in the fourth grade. After graduating from The University of California at Irvine in 1993, he stuck to his plan and immediately enrolled in dental school at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He initially planned on specializing in pediatrics upon graduation in 1997, but life had other plans for Dr. Ortale.
With so much left to learn, Dr. Ortale continued training in the Air Force and completed an advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residency in 1998 at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. Dr. Ortale was fortunate enough to live abroad in Germany for two years before settling down in Arizona in 2000. While Dr. Ortale joined a dental practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, shortly after returning to the United States, he took a chance and started his own practice in 2003.
Since launching Kevin Ortale, DDS, PLC, he has spent the last 17 years honing his abilities as a family and cosmetic dentist. He stays up to date on the latest advancements in dental technology and innovative treatments. Dr Ortale has furthered his passion for producing not only the best in dental esthetics, but has also aligned with the prestigious American Academy of Facial Esthetics to learn and also teach the latest techniques in facial esthetics and pain control. Dr. Ortale prides himself on connecting with patients on a personal level. Hes a friendly, positive doctor who always remains engaged and understanding when speaking with patients.
Patient comfort and satisfaction are top priorities at Dr. Ortales practice, and the entire team truly values each patient relationship. When he is not in the office, Dr. Ortale loves spending time with his sons, Jake and Wyatt, playing golf with his friends, or simply enjoying a hike in the AZ desert.
For 7 Years she has been making all our patients feel like family. Whether she is answering the phone, questions about insurance, or talking about her favorite things like her boys, chocolate, and coffeeher sweet smile will make you feel at ease.
Lesley has been our hygienist for 6 years. She has 20+ years of dental experience. The best compliment I keep hearing is the one everyone hopes for...'She is so gentle...my teeth feel great!' Lesley is soft spoken, sweet, loves 90s music (like me), and is talented at what she does for her patients. You 'll enjoy your time with Lesley...you might even relax a bit!
Yolanda will be helping Dr. Ortale in the back office for the 2nd year. She loves working out, playing basketball, and enjoying time with her family. She is the mother of two young girls and has a sweet quiet nature about her. Yolanda will help make your experience comfortable and enjoyable!

Infection Control is mandatory for both the safety of my patients and my staff. I monitor and evaluate my sterilizer with weekly spore and bacterial tests sent to an outside company for evaluation. My staff practices impeccable safety and infection control standards. We aim not to just meet, but exceed the standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

Love coming here! I first started here to get Botox for migraines. Dr Ortale is so informative and caring with what you desire. I now come here for all dental needs incl night guard and whitening. On top of their care, the staff is super friendly. I actually enjoy the dentist now

I will keep it simple.... Seriously, choose this dentist! Dr. Ortale is knowledgeable, thorough, patient and very dedicated. His staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. I am so thankful for what they've done for me! Stop Google searching and give them a call!

I started coming here with my foster daughter. They are very knowledgeable about what is covered and what isn't with the insurance she has through the state. Been going to Kevin for all my dental needs since he opened his practice about 20 years ago. He has always been honest about any work needed and treats me like I'm part of the family. To find a small town practice in metro Phoenix is rare but Kevin pulls it off.
