He then matched at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his three-year prosthodontics specialty training, graduating in 2001 with a Specialty Certification in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science in Prosthodontics. While in residency, Dr. Lowden received an outstanding graduate student scholarship, served as the chief clinical resident, was a clinical instructor and lectured on prosthodontics and implant dentistry. His Masters thesis was devoted to dental implant placement and radiographic techniques.
Dr. Lowden has lectured on prosthodontics and implant therapy and serves as a consultant to dentists and dental technicians on implant restorations. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Association.
