Dr. Herring has been providing excellent dental care to patients from Prunedale, North Monterey County and beyond for 35years. As a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and as the son of a dentist, he has always been a part of the dental world.
He takes pride in the fact that he knows how to create beautiful smiles, comfortably. 'Dentistry today is more than fillings and cleanings - it is a big part of a person 's total health. An unhealthy mouth leads to poor nutrition, an unbalanced diet, weight gain, heart disease and social isolation. There is a huge link between a healthy, beautiful smile and a person 's energy level and self-esteem,' says Dr. Herring, 'And with the advances in dental materials and techniques, smiles have never looked better.'
To bring the latest advances in dental health to Prunedale and the Monterey/Salinas area, Dr. Herring has taken advanced training in orthodontics (braces for children, teens, adults), dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and smile design. He has lectured internationally for Progressive Orthodontic Seminars - a cutting-edge training program for dentists. He participates in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry study groups on a continuing basis.

Great, friendly staff, and Dr Herring is exceptionally skilled. Appreciate his sense of humor, commitment to keeping his patients comfortable, and for taking time to explain needed procedures, etc. Negative reviews about Dr Herring and his staff are puzzling to me. All's not perfect, but they sure have worked with me and others if there's a concern. I highly recommend!

Able is the best. Great sense of humor, but talks straight. He teaches as he talks, but doesn't lecture. Wish Dr Herring would consider accepting Aspire dental as it would save seniors lots of money. If X-rays and 2 cleanings are covered, then we would have more money for other tooth problems that will inevitably come up for us seniors. Janet Martinez

My experience, for more of than 15 years, with Dr. Herring's dental clinic has been just excellent!!! And what impressed me the most is the constant improvement that I can experience in terms of staff, communication, equipment, cleaness, professionalism, friendliness, and quality of the work done! The physical installations are beautiful inside and outside (gardens and parking). Dr. Herring's dental clinic is an exemplary of what great service and striving for excellence is all about!
