My goal is to educate my patients and colleagues about current concepts in dental medicine and to provide the best ethical advice and care possible for their individual situations. I intend to uphold honesty, integrity, and professionalism as key components of my overall persona and service to humanity.
The ability to reach this goal comes from a solid and caring family and wife who support countless hours of out-of-house labor and continuing education. Understanding that my skills as an educator, as a scientist, and as a clinician are God-given gifts, I believe that it is my mission to uphold the ethical ideals of the profession of dentistry and to benefit the patients who it serves.
My very first visit to Dr Huff was a very warm reception. I had been suffering with a toothache for 3 yrs, 24/7. I tried for a year to find a dentist to help me. I saw Dr Huffs ad in the Bargain Hunter. I decided to give him a try cause I couldnt take the pain any longer. When I told how severe my toothache was, they got me in as soon as possible. The receptionist was very kind & polite. Dr. Huff greeted me and asked how he could help me. I explained to him my unbearable pain. He did 3 D x-rays and showed them to me and explained what was going on with my tooth & what he needed to do. He said there was no saving my tooth & it had to be pulled. He was very caring and concerned. He found I had a tooth with a crown that was cracked, had an abscess, and also a cyst. He pulled my tooth and removed the cyst. I had instant relief from the pain. Dr. Huff and his staff was very helpful and kind. I would refer anyone to go to him. Thank You Dr. Huff. God Bless you and your staff! Pam B
Comfort and function are very important and every step was taken to ensure both for me. This is not the first procedure I have had done here and every time I leave pleased with the results. My four year old daughter also goes to Dr. Huff and she LOVES to go to the dentist. I hear from so many people that their children are afraid of the dentist but my daughter is always excited to go. The entire staff makes sure she is as happy as possible while there which makes for a very happy child AND mom. I am very happy to have Dr. Huff and his staff to help my family and I with all of our dental needs.

Obviously, disease or fractures of the teeth and gums are the most common source of orofacial pain, but many other types of pain can actually cause dental pain. Chronic orofacial pain can significantly reduce the quality of life and is very difficult to manage in many situations. An orofacial pain specialist, like Dr. Huff, is trained in the diagnosis and management of acute dental pain and disease as well as orofacial pain that is not of tooth origin. Orofacial pain specialists also assess the need for multidisciplinary management of chronic pain conditions, and Dr. Huff strives to work with various professionals in the medical and dental communities through collaboration and appropriate referrals to provide the best possible care for orofacial pain conditions.
To become an orofacial pain specialist, Dr. Huff has taken many hours of continuing education from various programs, including courses from Louisiana State University, the University of Minnesota, Rutgers University, and UCLA. Having passed a rigorous two-part psychometric examination covering the gamut of orofacial pain conditions, causes, and treatments, Dr. Huff has earned the status of Diplomate from the American Board of Orofacial Pain. Orofacial Pain is a recognized specialty by the American Dental Association.
