Dr. Jessica Blanco is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist whos passion in life is working with children. Dr. Blanco began her collegiate studies in Juneau, Alaska at the University of Alaska Southeast and later Nova Southeastern University in South Florida to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree graduating with honors and distinction of summa cum laude. Dr. Blanco completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine where she was an active member of multiple volunteer organizations focused on providing dental healthcare to populations who have difficulty with access to care. Immediately after, Dr. Blanco was accepted for the highly sought-after Pediatric Dental Residency program at Childrens National Hospital (listed as one of the Nations top 10 Childrens Hospitals) where she received specialized training. During her training in DC, Dr. Blanco enjoyed advocating for Childrens Oral Healthcare policy changes on Capitol Hill. She is passionate about Childrens Oral Health Care and will continue to work with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry in this venture.

I'm not one to usually write reviews but the services that my family received from Dr. Blanco was second to none and felt compelled to share our experience. My wife and I decided to call Ketchikan Pediatric Dentistry to see if they had orthodontic services for our daughter (14 years old). On google, it was the first office to come up. The day of our appointment, Dr. Blanco met with us and went over the treatment plan. She recommended Invisalign, as our daughter's teeth qualified as a case under this orthodontic treatment. Dr. Blanco took the time to answer all of our questions and was extremely kind. My wife had many questions, and never once did we feel rushed. On the contrary, the service Ketchikan Pediatric Dentistry offered felt that of a "mom and pop's shop.' During the various follow appointment, Dr. Blanco made herself available to any concerns we may have had. One day, my daughter lost one of her trays at school and we immediately called Dr. Blanco's office to find out what we can do. Her staff offered us a same day appointment, and within a day our daughter had a new replacement tray. I would 100% recommend Dr. Blanco for any family seeking Invisalign or other dental services for their young ones.
