Mindy has been working with Dr Keskimaki for 15 years and is currently the Office Manager. She manages the office by scheduling patients, submitting insurance claims, explaining financial commitments, posting payments and handling patient correspondence.
She enjoys having the office in a small community which allows the team to create a relaxed family atmosphere and get to know their patients. This helps them to offer appropriate treatment plans for individual budgets and lifestyles.
Ashley is our Office Coordinator-Dental Assistant. She has an associates degree as a Medical Assistant, but found her calling in the dental field. Some of her duties include assisting the doctor during certain procedures and assists in the beautification selection process for partials and dentures. She helps in the front end of the office with scheduling and inventory.
Michelle is a Registered Dental Assistant who takes pride in assisting the doctor and ensuring that the labs and operatories are in order and organized. She has been in dentistry for 27 years and has worked in endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery and general dentistry.
She completed the required qualifications to obtain her Certified Dental Assistant Certificate and then continued her education at Washtenaw Community College, receiving her Registered Dental Assistant License.
Michelle has two daughters, no grandchildren yet, but she does have four fluffy grand kitties! She lives in the Hubbard Lake area and enjoys boating, family and friend get togethers and spending time working on home projects.
Cindy is a Registered Dental Assistant and assists the doctor in various procedures. She loves to educate patients on home care habits and has been doing this for 23 years. Helping patients reach their full potential makes her day. Her motto is, Excellent health begins with quality oral care.

Stephanie, a Registered Dental Hygienist provides outstanding dental hygiene as her primary duty, but is willing to jump in and help wherever needed. She has been in the field of dentistry for 28 years.
She obtained her degree from Ferris State University. She enjoys making a difference especially when visiting the local schools, educating children on excellent oral hygiene habits and expanding their comfort level about visiting the dentist.
Michelle is a Registered Dental Hygienist who provides quality preventive care and education to her patients. She has been in the field of dentistry for 20 years and has always worked in general dentistry. She worked as an assistant for two years before receiving her Registered Dental Hygiene license from Mott Community College.
Amy is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She began as a receptionist in a dental office, then as a dental assistant prior to going into dental hygiene. As Amy says, Ive done it all! She has been in the dental field for 17 years and takes pride in providing each patient with excellent hygiene.
She enjoys being on the prevention and education side of healthcare and makes every effort to put her patients at ease. Amy received her Associates in Science from Alpena Community College and earned an Associates degree in Applied Science-Dental Hygiene degree from Ferris State University.
Jessica is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has worked in the dental field for 20 years. She did clerical work at a dental office before moving on to becoming a hygienist. She attended Alpena Community College and then obtained her Associates degree in Applied Science from Ferris State University.
Dr. William B. Keskimaki received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1989. He was born and raised in Gladstone, MI and relocated to Alpena after earning his degree. He began his career in Alpena in 1989 and has been in practice for over 30 years.
Dr. Keskimaki explains what he enjoys about dentistry: Our primary goal is for our patients to chew and function comfortably in their lifetime. My staff and I are committed to making dental care a positive experience for each and every patient.
Dr. Keskimaki and his wife have been married for over 34 years and have two children. His son Andy is a student at Michigan Technological University and Kirsti, his daughter is a Central Michigan University graduate.
Dr. Phil Wienczewski earned his BA of Arts and a Masters of Science Degree from Marquette University. He completed his dental education and received his DDS degree from the University of Michigan. While at the Uof M, he was the Recipient of the Prestigious Humanitarian Award from the dental school at the UofM.
Hobbies that interest Dr. Wienczewski include trout fishing, golfing, duck hunting, woodworking, gardening and life on the lake in his free time. He also is the father to four adult children who all reside in Michigan.

Absolutely amazing experience. Our toddler was treated with the most amazing care. I went first and our dental hygienist clearly explained everything she was doing in kid friendly terms that made it easy to understand. When it was toddler's turn she jumped into the chair, picked out her polish flavor, and got her sparkly clean smile! I am so appreciative of the care provided and toddler is excited to see her favorite hygienist in 6 months!

I took my 3 year old to go see Dr. Keskimaki today and my son was so comfortable with him. It was the best dentist experience my son has ever had, he was calm and listened to everything Dr. Keskimaki asked of him. Magical!! I made an appointment for myself too, because he's just great!

I wouldn't suggest any other dentist to anyone before Dr. Keskimaki. From day one the entire staff has been extremely friendly and non-judgmental. They work hard to make sure you get the best dental care while happily accommodating your schedule and financial concerns. Its clear that the patients' comfort is a top priority here. I've had quite a few teeth fixed so far and not felt a thing. My teeth look beautiful and feel so much healthier. This office is extremely professional, and they will also probably able to make you laugh every time you come in. Grandma Cindy will even hold your hand when you get a shot. Most people hate going to the dentist but because of Dr. Keskimaki and his staff, I always leave smiling. I highly recommend this dentist office!

This is an amazing office. I was there for an emergency. My temp. Crown came loose and they were so nice to take me . My sister called them for this is her dentist. What a great experience. Thank you so much.

Who doesn't hate going to the dentist? Even THOSE people would be comfortable going here. These are skilled people working on you and they all make you feel like family. They are totally professional in their jobs but they are all down to earth people. I plan on retiring soon and heading South to warmer climates but I still plan on scheduling an appointment with Dr. K when I'm up visiting relatives. It's really hard to find a good dentist and I don't plan on giving that up no matter where I live.

Very friendly and efficiently ran staff. The exrays we're more advanced then I've seen in other offices. The office itself is easy to get to. It is also neat and clean. I hardly had any waiting time. The dentist took time to explain my problem I was having with my tooth and what options he was going to try. It took some of my worries away. My appointment was very pleasant and I was happy to have been referred to them.
