Dr. Kerr is an Iowa native and attended Tripoli High School before he set off to the University of Iowa College of Engineering for undergraduate school. He earned his dentistry degree and earned the Dental Research Support Award and Dows Research Award while completing his DDS degree. He started Kerr Family Dental in 2016 when he took over for Dr. Harris.

One of the things that Dr. Kerr really appreciates about dentistry is being able to help people feel great about the way they look. If they are experiencing pain, he can help them feel better right away. Since Dr. Kerr is a people person, he loves meeting and getting to know our patients and loves how grateful they are when they receive great dental care. Dr. Kerr also appreciates our dental team because they are professional, knowledgeable, and skilled at what they do.

Dr. Kerr has a very busy life outside of the office, as well. He enjoys time with his wife and four small children. Watching them grow up and learn brings him endless joy. Dr. Kerr also enjoys sports, music, and running. He also stays very active in his church and values his ability to serve others.

Originally from Murray, IA, Cheryl is an expanded function dental assistant who learned on the job by assisting Dr. Kerr and Dr. Harris, the previous practice owner, with a wide range of procedures. She is experienced, with over 34 years on the job!

Donna is originally from Murray, IA and earned her hygiene degree from DMACC in 1977. She brings 34 years of experience to Kerr Family Dental and thinks of our patients like friends. She enjoys helping to educate and play a part in helping patients maintain their oral health. She also gains satisfaction from helping patients overcome their fear of dentistry. She loves that Dr. Kerr is easy to work with and that he provides our patients with great dental care. She loves working with a team that is easy going and caring.

When Donna is relaxing, you will usually find her with her family. Since she has grown kids, getting together with everyone is fun. Donna also enjoys horses, herding her cattle, landscaping, and welding!

Candi is originally from Floris, Iowa and worked with Dr. Kerr for two years in Missouri before coming to Kerr Family Dental to run our front office. She will be the person you talk to about scheduling and benefits Candi enjoys making each patients experience a great one.
