Hello, I am Dr. Marshall. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. An interesting fact about me is that I am an only child. I assure you that I am only a little weird. I have been a part of the Bakersfield community since 2010. I came here shortly after I finished my residency program in New York. I have been actively practicing to help create healthier and brighter smiles for the children of Kern County.
In my spare time, I serve on the board of directors for the Kern County Dental Society and I enjoy teaching the post-doctorate pediatric residents at UCLA. I also have a heart for mission work and serve as a mentor for GMMA and other mission-minded college students. I spend the rest of my time with my lovely wife, Jennifer, and our son Max. Thank you for trusting me to care for your child. I look forward to saying hello in person and getting to know you better.
Hello, I am Dr. Sanjeeta. I was born and raised in Fresno, CA with my two brothers and mother. My husband grew up in Bakersfield so I already feel like a part of the community. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging with family and friends, being outdoors, watching and playing sports, and planning events. I am obsessed with HGTV and home dcor. Being a mother myself, I understand that it is a great privilege that you trust in me to take care of your child. I look forward to serving all the children of Kern County to the best of my ability. We have been going to this dentist office for years. The staff is wonderful with my son. He is 26 and diagnosed with low functioning autism. He looks forward to going to the dentist. I highly recommend this Kern Kids Dental

There is no one I trust more than Dr. Chey when it comes to the lives of my children. I was in seek of a dentist who would not put my son under general anesthesia and I made the 2.5 hour drive from Orange County to see Dr. Chey and it was worth it. My son, who was 4 at the time, needed fillings for several cavities and a crown. The work done was impeccable and affordable. My son who is now 8 has not had any issues since seeing Dr. Chey and we always get compliments during annual check ups from other dentists and family physicians on what a great job was done to my son's teeth. Dr. Chey is so nice and amazing with children. He was so patient and waited until my son was relaxed and comfortable before beginning work on the chair. The office and staff also felt inviting and sincerely kind and I was put at ease. There is no one I trust more than Dr. Chey. He is an honest dentist who will not try to rip you off and genuinely cares about the well-being of your children. On a scale of 1-10, I give Dr. Chey one million.

I just wanted to share what an amazing Dentist and overall staff this office has. I love how they take the time to explain the procedure. They are wonderful with the kids...We love this office!!

Staff was really accommodating to my schedule and Dr Marshall was really good at getting my son comfortable with the tools and sitting in the chair. Would definitely recommend for squirmy kids

Dr Chey was so awesome! My son is only 2 and he felt comfortable enough to actually have a teeth cleaning! All smiles over here!

My daughter had a spot on her tooth that previous Dr said "it's a birth mark" she has to live with it. Kids can be insensitive , so they started telling her to brush her teeth . I was referred to kern kids dental by an orthodontist. Dr. Marshall, you're our restorer. She scrapped the spot away. Now my baby girl can smile with confidence!! Thank you Dr Marshall!! And she's always, always checking on US after every visit. Looking for pediatric dental care, Kern kids is the place!!

I am extremely impressed with the staff and the doctor! They took time to sit down and talk with me and they went out of their way to make sure my daughter felt safe and comfortable. As someone who had horrific dental experiences as a child, I am so grateful to find a good dentist for my daughter!

We've been very happy with every aspect of Kern Kids Dental. The staff is friendly and helpful - and great with kids, of course! I couldn't be more happy with Dr. Chey's service, and I'm grateful for the time he takes to help my kids understand what everything means. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

good service. I give 2 stars because all appointments are right when kids are supposed to be in class. this is a disappointing factor. If for all appointments one has to take the kid out of school then it is not meeting our needs. Revise the hours so you can have afternoon appointments as well.

Staff was amazing: front desk girls are hopeful. The dental asst is sweet and patent with my toddler. Bravo to our dentist she did a great job examining my baby's teeth. Thank you Kern Kids Dental for making my daughter's 1st appointment smooth.

Don't waste your time. The older dentist retired and this younger guy just has student loans to pay and will charge you for everything! I had to cancel bc my kids were sick (during the pandemic) they still charged me $300!! Outrageous!! Go somewhere else, you're not missing anything.

MARSHALL CHEY is amazing the whole staff is excellent and THEY ARE BEYOND KID FRIENDLY, I can not even write about our previous dentist at Kids 1st Dentistry but I'll say this she was horrible the experiences were very very traumatizing and they tried to preform services that weren't needed on my 2.5 year old son. The staff here however is outstanding Dr. Chey was Amazing to say the least. Best of all our son was happy here he wasnt scared didnt cry and did everything the Dr and assisstant asked him to because they care and took their time with him. He felt loved here and I was so thrilled to see him enjoy a dentist visit. We 1000% recommend this office you wont be disappointed.

I simply can't say enough good things about this place. My son is autistic and I was so stressed out about finding the right dentist for him. From the receptionist (who is beyond amazing) to the dental team to finance, they treated us with care. The level of patience for my son and communication for me was far more than I could have ever hoped for. I highly, highly recommend.

I can not say enough about Launspach and Chey. The staff is caring and wonderful. Everyone makes you feel like family. The care we receive every time we come here is tremendous. The staff and dentist always take the time. To explain everything every step of the way. Having a child that has a condition. Dr. Marshall has taken every precaution with my child. The care and compassion is here. My child use to not like going to dentist. Today he loves to come. Thank you for all you do.
