Dr. Kenworthy attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate education.He received his BDS and DDS degrees from the University of California at San Francisco.He then practiced general dentistry in Montana before going back to obtain three years of specialty training, an orthodontic certificate, and a Master's degree in orthodontic treatment from the Mayo Graduate School in Medicine. He now lectures toother orthodontists, teaching themhis techniques to improve the care of their patients.
Besides being familiar with current and advanced orthodontics techniques, he has published numerous articles in scientific literature including the Journal of Orofacial Pain, the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, the EuropeanJournalof Orthodontics, and the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.He has also presented his research at scientific meetings in the United States, Canada and Europe.He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, the Montana State Orthodontic Society, the American Dental Association, and the Montana Dental Association.Also, hehas served as president of the Montana 3rd District Dental Society, the Montana State Orthodontic Society, and the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists and he has been inducted into the International College of Dentists.
On a non-scientific note, Dr. Kenworthy has published poetry, coached semi-professional baseball, written a few novels and led Boy Scout troops.Dr. Kenworthy, his wife, and their five boys enjoyhiking, four-wheeling, camping, water skiing, and travel.
Sometimes we get a little behind schedule at the office because Dr. Kenworthy sees each patientto ensure that treatment is progressing optimally. Sometimes that takes a little extra time but his goal is to help every patient receive their best smile in the shortest time possible.
