Dr. Michelle VanDyke was born and raised in West Michigan. Upon graduating from both Reeths-Puffer High School and Hope College, Dr. Michelle earned her DDS at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. After completing her residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, she returned to West Michigan establishing a successful family dental practice in her beloved community. For the past 15 years. Dr. Michelle has prided herself in prioritizing her patients comfort, care, and overall experience at every dental visit. Her patients are her family and she looks forward to serving atKentwood Family Dental Care.
Dr. Michelle is a single mom to two crazy boys; Levi and William. When not car pooling to Soccer, Baseball, or Football with her boys, Dr. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family camping, scrapbooking, reading and traveling. Both her and her boys have a passion for rescuing animals in need of safe, loving homes. Their family zoo of 2 cats, 3 dogs (one with only two legs) and 1 ball python snake keep life exciting, hilarious and rewarding.

I recently got my SureSmile aligners at ArtDentistry and am extremely impressed with the ortho process. My teeth were scanned (far better than the messy impression process) and by THE NEXT DAY Dr.Le reviewed and ordered my case! The following week I received all of my aligners. The prep process only took about 45 minutes to attach the buttons that help the proper movement of my teeth, specifically designed for my smile goals. I'm on my 3rd tray and have already noticed great progress. So glad I was given this option by Dr.Le and the friendly ArtDentistry team.

Personally, this is a great place to get your teeth taken care of. From cleaning to teeth removal. The expirence was very nice and easy all throughout the process with the staff being some of the best to work with.

Since Dr Rossi left this place has gone way down hill, I had a 6 month cleaning scheduled then I received a call to have it rescheduled so it got rescheduled for 2 months later, only to receive a phone call a week before this appointment to be told that they are going to be closed, (keep in mind that they gave me the new date to come in when they rescheduled me) so they have to reschedule again and the soonest they could get me in then is 2+months out, so my original appointment for September got pushed out to December to now get pushed out to February. Avoid this place.

I walked in and was immediately greeted by Heidi at the front desk along with Fred, the owners dog. I am a dog lover so this was a nice added bonus and he was a complete GENTLEMAN! I came in to have one of my teeth augmented to match the other. The procedure was quick and simple and my tooth looked incredible. So happy with the results! The staff here was very welcoming and made me feel at home. I will definitely be coming back for future dental needs!

Husband had 4 front teeth crowned. They turned out beautiful and look totally natural. Great job by the entire staff. Everyone is professional and friendly. It was a painless experience. Highly recommend Kentwood Family Dental Care if you are looking for a dentist.

Visited Dr. Michelle Vandyke for the first time since Dr. Rossi sold his practice. I was given white material for my replacement fillings which they fail to tell me was not covered by insurance. Whatever she did caused more pain and a will most likely lead to me getting a root canal to undo the damage she has inflicted on me. I called her to see what could be done to fix the problem and got an appt. 3 days later. My pain was not a concern to her and her staff. The day before the appt. ,it was cancelled due to her being "ill". I was give an appt. 12 days later. She has no back up plan for her patients that have emergencies? I hope she enjoys her 4th of July vacation, I won't be. I can't eat, have massive pain, and nobody to help. What a wonderful, caring, concerned dentist (NOT) .

Since Dr Rossi sold his practice to Dr VanDyke the care has gone down hill fast. 1. Billing errors I had to fight to have fixed (never had these issues in the 15+ yrs I've been a patient there 2. Owner brings dog to work and during a cleaning crapped on the floor (gross to smell with a hygienist in your mouth) 3. Biggest complaint: Told adult daughter she had 9 cavities! This is a girl who rarely has cavities normally. Took her to Dr Mull in Standale for a 2nd opinion and found only one cavity! He suspected Dr Michele wanted to replace old fillings which he did not recommend. We have since pulled our family of 6 out of the practice and now go to Dr Mull.

Dr VanDyke and staff are skilled and professional, AND made me feel comfortable. They care for a person, which is above treating a patient's condition. I was a patient of Dr Rossi, predecessor in the practice, for many years and have made an easy transition.

I've been going to this office since I was three years old. I'm now 29 and bring my own children there! Plus my husband! We all love the office and the staff is exceptional. Even though we live 30 minutes away, it's well worth our drive. My family is well taken care of and we would not go anywhere else!
