Dr. Nathan Walters knew when he walked into an oral surgery clinic in dental school that this was the career for him. He fell in love with the profession, enjoying its combination of medicine and dentistry. He feels like he was born to be an oral surgeon and looks forward to each day of excitement, challenges, and fulfillment.
Following his degree, Dr. Walters opened a practice with one of his friends. Over the years, they experienced great success and have since added new doctors, expanded to new locations, and opened a surgical center. Looking for a new practice to join, Dr. Walters wanted to work alongside skilled physicians and was thrilled to join the team at Kentuckiana Oral Maxillofacial and Dental Implant Surgery. It is important for him to collaborate with other professionals in an area he loved, and he found the perfect fit at this practice.
Dr. Walters feels privileged to help others through oral surgery by improving their confidence, alleviating anxiety, and relieving pain. When patients are nervous, he takes the time to explain the procedure and expected outcomes. He answers any questions and explains the variety of anesthesia options available for a comfortable experience.
Most of Dr. Walters free time revolves around his three children. He enjoys attending sporting events and concerts. He feels very lucky to have traveled all over the world and looks forward to any opportunity to experience new things.
Originally from Paducah, Kentucky, Dr. Christopher Noonan was inspired by his father, a neurosurgeon, to pursue a career in the dental/medical field. Oral surgery was his specialty of choice because of its combination of dentistry, medicine, surgery, and anesthesia.
Dr. Noonan joined Kentuckiana Oral Maxillofacial and Dental Implant Surgery in 2005 and enjoys being a part of the Kentuckiana community. This practice affords Dr. Noonan the unique opportunity to practice with doctors whom he attended school and residency. Dr. Noonan enjoys the opportunity to practice both in an office and in a hospital environment. He sees patients daily who are in pain because of a dental issue, and being able to provide immediate relief is a great honor and privilege. He values the trust patients place in him. As a patient, you can expect Dr. Noonan to help you feel comfortable and confident. Hell talk you through the process from start to finish and will always take the time to answer any questions.
Dr. Geoffrey Mills grew up 3 hours southeast of Louisville. While studying medicine, he applied at the University of Louisville oral surgery program and decided to pursue a career as an oral surgeon. During his residency as Chief Resident, he performed a three-surgeon operation and was eager to later find a practice where he could work alongside such skilled surgeons every day.
Dr. Mills understands that the surgical experience can cause anxiety and enjoys being able to help anxious patients feel more at ease and confident. He is willing to see anyone, regardless of their oral health conditions, and is easily accessible to his patients, even if that means staying late or working weekends. Through answering questions, explaining surgery, and remaining compassionate, he provides exceptional patient experiences.

The staff is absolutely amazing! I had to continuously go back to them for proof of my root canal to my job because they are just annoying about that kind of stuff, and the staff at Kentuckiana wasted no time in filing out paperwork and out this single mom. Hopefully I don't need anymore oral surgeries, but if I do, I'm definitely going back here.

Dr. Allen is great and does a good job explaining what is going on and how he is going to fix it. He does not force you into any choices and helps you make an informed decision. I would recommend to anyone.

My daughter, age 14, had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. They made things so easy and explained everything very well to her. She was so nervous at first but they really helped her be calm. They kept her informed of every step and answered her every question. I was very impressed. She healed very fast as well.

I had a very enjoyable experience with Kentuckiana Oral Maxillofacial and Dental Implant Surgery. The staff were very accommodating, and my wisdom teeth surgery went great! I had little to no pain thanks to the excellent quality of my procedure. The staff were very open and knowledgeable to all my questions. I'd definitely recommend Kentuckiana Dental Surgery to those around me!

Dr. Warren and his staff were fabulous! I had all my upper teeth pulled and immediate dentures put in there, and I'd highly recommend them for any dental needs. All staff were friendly and helpful, and I would definitely use them again.

5 star experience! I was afraid of going through with this surgery. I put it off for years. However, Dr. Noonan made sure to explain the surgery and made sure I was comfortable. The surgery went great and I was put to sleep with no complications. The healing process went well and Dr. Noonan made sure to answer any questions I had. The staff was very nice and they all cared about my well being.
