Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Everyone here was super welcoming and helpful. The dentist walked me through what's happening and they were super gentle and thorough for my cleaning and cavity removals :) barely felt a thing

I had a crown put on this AM. Everyone at Kent Smiles Dentistry was pleasant and helpful. Dr. Park was terrific--he thoroughly explained the steps in the process and was a patient teacher with his assistants. He was sensitive as to when I needed a break. It took a little less than 2 hours and I left the office with the crown done--no temporary and it matches my teeth. Now just waiting for the numbness to go away.

I had my first visit with Kent Smiles Dentistry & it was amazing! Everyone was very nice & listen to my concerns. I have been wanting a straighter smile & I can do so here! The level of care in this office is absolutely spectacular. I have severe anxiety going to the dentist. But everyone at Kent Smiles made me feel so at ease and comfortable. Dr. Park and his team really make going to the dentist a great experience. The office staff are so friendly and upbeat you can tell it is a great place to work. They take their time with each person and make you feel like your the only patient. Its really like being part of a family. I am happy to say I love my dentist!

He identified 3 teeth and sent me to front desk to get the estimate for the treatment. Here is the problem. I was trying to identify the teeth she had planned for root canal and caps and a little confused asked her to tell me left side and right side teeth which needed work. She totally blew up on my face. Yelling at the top of her voice she stomped to Dr. Kim and he came over tried to pacify her. It was a shocker, why would someone behave like that unless they are mental. I am livid with that kind of nasty behavior.
