Dr. Kent K. Morikado was born and raised in Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois in Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of Science with honors in biology. He then attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago where he received a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Morikado originally opened his practice in Des Plaines and moved to his current location in Arlington Heights in 2002. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society.

He is an enthusiastic student and has attended the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education, in San Francisco CA, the University of Minnesota Esthetics Dental Continuum, and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing dental education.

Grace has been our dental hygienist since August, 2013. Grace loves travelling and learning about different cultures. She still remembers her visit to Japan while growing up and hopes to return there in the near future.

We are happy to file your insurance claims on your behalf. We accept all insurance but do not participate in dental HMOs (Health Maintenance Organizations).We will do our best to help you receive all the insurance benefits for which you are entitled.For our patients dental insurance often times is a source of confusion. The different insurance companies have different rules, deductibles, waiting periods, exclusions, annual maximum limits and terms of coverage. The insurance benefit you receive is based on the contract you or your employer has with the insurance company. We are happy to submit pre-determination and pre-treatment authorizations for dental care.
