Kent Island Pediatric Dentistry is a team of expert pediatric dentists who share a common goal: to redefine the way young people feel about going to the dentist.By creating a truly positive in-office experience, we work to instill better oral hygiene habits, inspire children to take care of their teeth, and encourage healthy lifestyle changes that will last a lifetime.

It takes a thoughtful, individualized approach customized to each patient. It takes an experienced staff that listens. It takes a true belief in educationtaking the time to inform and explain good habits, or provide caregivers and parents clear options if treatments are needed. And a fresh, state-of-the-art practice that weaves fun, technology and entertainment doesnt hurt, either.

Get to know our staff. Led by Dr. Margaret McGrath, Kent Island Pediatric Dentistry brings a modern, inspired approach to pediatric dentistry, rooted in a firm commitment to the long-term health of the Kent Island community (and beyond).

The entire staff of Kent Island Pediatric Dentistry is amazing. They're so on point with communication and making everything as easy as possible. They have a change of clothes if your little ones need them - they are wonderful with scheduling and keeping tabs on your child after a procedure - the kindness and consideration of Dr. McGrath and her team is amazing - I just can't believe I hadn't taken my kids here sooner.

I've gone there for routine checkups and more complicated procedures as well. My experience has always been as pleasant as can be; the staff has always been cordial and very kind. You can tell your kids that they're very gentle as well.

If there was a negative star I'd give a -10. Do not take your kids here. Sure they are friendly and professional and the best around but they will watch your children's teeth rot out of their heads before they schedule you in a timely manner. One dentist for the entire eastern shore. Ridiculous. My son is 4 and had to be drugged for an extraction due to a cavity they refused to treat for 6 months. The tooth became absess. He was in pain and they still didnt remove the tooth for a month. This is my son's regular dentist!!! Here we are waiting for an appointment 3 months out for a cavity. Again....

We called here to schedule an appt to have my sons tooth fixed. A few years ago he fell on the playground and broke his tooth in half. A few days ago it broke off again. They refused to see him without a cleaning claiming it was "necessary" So first, we were living in PA when my sons tooth first broke and the dentist there not only did not need to clean his teeth before hand but the cost was way more reasonable. Kent Island Pediatrics quoted us at $335 for a cleaning. If you're paying that for a cleaning you have way to much money. The average cost for a cleaning is $32 to $100. Heck, my sons first tooth repair in 2018 was only $600 and that was considered a surgery and he was put under anesthesia and given a balloon when he left.

Dr. McGrath and Carrie were amazing. My 8 year old had 3 baby teeth extracted. They made her feel comfortable and relaxed. They were attentive before, during, and after her surgery. Can't recommend this practice enough!

Dr. Megan is the best! She did a procedure on my daughter; who has the worst anxiety with the dentist, and made her feel relaxed and comfortable. My daughter handled the procedure like a champ, and Dr. Megan and her assistant (sorry I don't remember her name, but my daughter did offer to buy her Chick Fil A), definitely should be recognized for it! Thank you for all you do!

The hygienist are all super sweet. They work hard to make the kids feel comfortable and special. We did have an issue with scheduling once, after which Dr McGrath wrote me a personal letter apologizing.

I have been a loyal customer of this branch for some years. I will never go anywhere else. This dentistry treats my family like they are apart of their family. My kids love this place and they could do no wrong. Ver personable and kind-hearted individuals. Dr. McGrath always has a welcoming and kind smile. It's always a pleasure to be around such nice individuals!

My son had dental work done and he had to receive a shot of novacaine. Dr. Meghan and staff kept him so content that he didn't even know he was receiving the shot. The patient rooms are very parent friendly. I was able to hold my son's hand and comfort him throughout the duration of his procedure.
