Dr. Laraway graduated in the top of his program from Penn State Universitys Schreyer Honors College with a Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences. He then went on to graduate from dental school at the University of Maryland, where he remained for his orthodontic training and to complete his masters degree thesis in Accelerated Orthodontics.Dr. Laraway has been focusing in orthodontics for years. He currently works as an associate orthdontics in Anne Arundel County where he treats thousands of patients every year and has extensive experience in phase 1/interceptive, comprehensive, and clear aligner treatments!
Dr. Laraway grew up outside of Harrisburg, PA with aspirations of becoming an orthodontist from a very young age. He and his wife, Megan, met at Penn State. The Laraway family moved to the Eastern Shore several years ago. Robert, Megan, their fluffy white dog named Nala and a baby boy named Easton and are happy to call Kent Island their home!

It was our first visit, a consult for my daughter to get braces. They are so sweet and had a welcome sign ready for her as we walked in. The doctor was very nice took his time and explain the steps and everything. Thank you for wonderful customer service

Absolutely LOVE KI Orthodontics! About 6 months ago we shopped various options for orthodontics for my daughter. KI Ortho was comparable in price with our other options but their treatment of patients is exemplary! Upon our initial consultation they took the time to explain our options, answer questions and made both my daughter and I feel very comfortable. Honestly I still cannot get over how we both walked out of that visit and said this is our place! They are very willing to work through different payment options and plans that are suitable for you. We are now about 4.5 months into treatment and I am so glad we made the decision to go with KI Ortho. One of her trays were causing some issues. I called at 8 am, and they promptly scheduled us for 9 am that same day, and resolved her issue. Dr. Laraway and team are friendly, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. If you need orthodontics this is your only option!

DR Robert Laraway and Caitlyn did an amazing job with my son's braces, not to mention the receptionist Amy that always answered all of our questions, always got back to us and kept us up to date! Very reliable and professional.

Wow, just wow! There are not enough stars on Google to say how much we loved the staff here. Aimee at the front desk might be the most kind hearted person I have ever met in my life and the professional care of the orthodontist was above and beyond. She was so patient with my son, she spent quality time answering his questions and explaining things a long the way. Most importantly she spoke with honesty if something was going to be a little unpleasant or taste yucky she let him know preparing him for a real experience. He appreciated it so much that he (my 9 year old!) Asked me to leave a good review.

Had my first consultation today and the team at KI Ortho was great! The staff was welcoming and friendly not only to me but also to my 8yr old son who tags along with me everywhere. They completed a thorough exam, answered all of my son's inquisitive questions, and the doctor gave me lots of options to help correct/straighten my teeth. I took both my daughter and son today for a consultation and am beyond pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the professionalism and knowledge of the Orthodontist. Everything was explained in easy to understand terms and they provided affordable options. My kids felt comfortable even though they were nervous about the appointment. I highly, highly recommend for anyone needing Orthodontics!!!!

Dr. Laraway is incredibly professional and personable! His level of patience and willingness to explain everything clearly was very apparent from the first visit, throughout my year long treatment, and even after my treatment was finished when I had questions. He offered different options and his ultimate recommendation for my case taking into consideration everything that I wanted to fix. I was very happy with my experience and results after Invisalign with Dr. Laraway. The level of care provided by Dr. Laraway is unmatched! I would recommend him to my closest family and friends without hesitation as I know that they would be in great hands!

Couldn't recommend this orthodontist more! Dr. Laraway practices very conservatively and he was creative in giving me options to fix my bite and avoid removing any teeth. His attention to detail and care for his patients are unmatched. KIO is the best place to go for customized individual care. The office is very clean providing a safe friendly organized environment.
