Dr. Yamamura received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Washington. He continued his education at the University of Washington, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Finally, he attended a two year endodontic program at the University of Washington where he received his Masters of Science in Dentistry degree and endodontic certificate.
He was awarded the American Association of Endodontics Award, which is an award presented to one graduating dental student. Also, his thesis work on root canal instrumentation techniques was published in the Journal of Endodontics in 2012.
Dr. Yamamura strives to provide the highest level of care and clinical skills toward each one of his patients. He continues to be up to date in the field of endodontics and completes more hours of continuing education than is required every year. Dr. Yamamura is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle King County Dental Society.
Dr. Peter Yamamura completed his D.D.S. degree at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He went on to earn numerous accolades including winning 1st place at the American Dental Association Annual Meeting for his research presentation on regenerative endodontics. He continued his post-graduate training at the University of Washington Endodontic Program, earning his Certificate in Endodontics and Masters of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Yamamura maintains active membership in many local, regional and national dental associations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Washington State Dental Association, and Seattle-King County Dental Society.

1st impression in May was not impressive. This office was small and very noisy with mix dental equipments sounds, plus people were talking over each other. One guy was shouting loudly and rudely in Chinese on the phone, and to the receptionist. All of these were happening while an important(to me) paid consultation was given in the same area. Dr. Peter Yamamura apologized for the chaos around us (bad timing). Wished he had taken me into an office(a private room with a closed door), so we could have a reasonable space for a consultation, even my regular dentist had her own office to talk to me about dental plans. I e-mailed Dr. Peter plenty of questions after the consultation to help making an important decision. Both him and his book-keeper were responsive. Everything was upfront and clear. Dr. Peter answered all my questions in a professional and timely manner. That's very rare nowadays because most people don't have the patience to read. And usually only one question was answered when you had asked three. Just had my Root Canal Retreatment therapy done this week, it went smoothly with no pain at all. Hope a good decision makes a positive outcome.

Had as good an experience you can ask for. Front desk was friendly and squeezed me in last minute. Dr Brandon was grand. Professional, clean, friendly. Highly recommended.

I saw Dr Peter. No one ever wants to go to the dentist or dental specialist. I found my visit today went as I expected it to, that is to say, very well. He explained my dental needs, and plans for my case. It was done in such a way I could easily understand it. I reccommend him without hesitation or reservation. Great friendly staff.

The staff was great at reassuring me that everything would go smooth and took the time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process!

I needed a root canal after my routine dental checkup discovered the likely source of my discomfort. My dentist at Great Northwest Dental referred me to Kent Endodontics. I was delighted by the Covid-safe environment of Kent Endodontics. The waiting room, staff, and timing of patient interactions reflected genuine concern for patient and staff safety, backed up with simple and prudent mask, social distancing, and sanitizing practices. The dental assistant, Amelia, was reassuring and informative throughout the evaluation phase of my exam by Dr. Brandon to determine if the root canal was the appropriate solution to my condition. When that was confirmed, Dr. Brandon patiently and clearly responded to my questions about the mechanics of the process, the tactics of accurately measuring and completely filling the cleaned areas, and the anticipated healing process. Dr. Brandon was efficient, meticulous, thorough, and for me, wonderfully effective. He and Ameila worked well as a professional team. They remained attentive to, solicited, and responded well to my feedback on my comfort while they worked on my tooth. I'm grateful for their care, concern, and competence in restoring my tooth to its useful purpose.
