Kenneth F. Wallace, DMD Kenneth F. Wallace is a native Kentuckian. He grew up in Prestonsburg, KY, and graduated from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY, in 1982. He then attended graduate school and did research at University of Kentucky, followed by dental school at UK. After graduating in 1989, he was an associate at a dental practice in Lexington for a year and then in Fort Fairfield, Maine. Dr. Wallace and his wife then decided to come home, and he has practiced in Florence since 1993.
Dr. Wallace is a longtime member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Northern Kentucky Dental Society and the Better Business Bureau. Dr. Wallace and his wife, Olivia, have been married for well over 30 years and have one daughter, Maggie, who is soon to graduate from Transy.
Dr. Wallace is an avid UK fan, although we welcome patients from all sports persuasions (even U of L). He is an enthusiastic (although mediocre) golfer and amateur musician. He is also a history buff and is frequently known to entertain patients during procedures with such classics as the history of cheese.
Francis Chairside Assistant Francis has been chairside assisting for Dr. Wallace since 2001. She is a bit like Radar OReilly on MASH and generally knows what the doctor wants before he does. She is a country girl through and through and loves her many animals and trucks.
Oliva Office Manager Olivia gave up her own career in medicine to become a full-time mom when her daughter was born. In 2012, when Dr. Wallaces original office manager retired, Olivia came to work at the dental office. She does everything related to the front desk: Office manager, receptionist, biller, insurance coordinator, bookkeeper and scheduler, etc.
