Dr. Rasmussen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association and local professional organizations. He holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in both Virginia and Florida.
For almost 40 years, Dr. Rasmussen has provided adults and children with experienced, quality dental care in a warm, neighborly atmosphere. Dr. R graduated from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry in 1981. His expertise, knowledge and mild manner puts even the most apprehensive dental patient at ease. His Certified and Registered Staff, some of whom have been with him for over 25 years, provide qualified, professional and personal treatment and assistance to each and every patient.

They were very good to work with my difficulties with Novocane however I was appalled to find out that, when difficulties arrived with my insurance that they don't offer a discount for out of pocket unless you are a senior citizen (like the doc and most of his staff, I guess?). $730 for a filling and cleaning - approximately 2 hours total in the office. And when I called to verify that the receptionist told me the policy, then giggled, like $730 is funny. And she did it twice! Avoid this place.

I have been going here for dental work for 25 years and can't say enough good things about this practice. Dr. R is very thorough and does not recommend procedures that are unnecessary. He cared for my 3 son's teeth from preschool until they became adults. Office staff and hygienists are top notch! Highly recommend!

Went here a couple times, it was ok but had the feeling I was being rushed.. Switched dentists due to a job change and realized they missed significant problem areas.
