Prior to opening this practice, I served in the Navy as the Endodontics Department Head at the Washington Navy Yard. In this capacity, I provided root canal therapy and surgical endodontic treatment for military members throughout the Washington, DC area. In addition, our practice provided emergency care to the U.S. Congress. I also taught endodontic diagnosis and treatment to general practice residents from the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
I am a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, and a member of the ADA.I haveserved as president of the Penick Endodontic Study Club. Im also a member of the Anne Arundel County Dental Society and the Maryland State Dental Association.
Dr. Moreno is an experienced and compassionate endodontist. He received his DMD degree and certificate in endodontics from Temple University Dental School in Philadelphia. A Philadelphia native, Dr. Moreno has been providing endodontic care in private practice in Maryland since 2006.
Dr. Hack is a talented and truly caring clinician. She graduatedfrom Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland,Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Hack spent one year pursuing a certificate in the General Practice of Dentistry Residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles and was awarded the title of resident of the year upon graduation. She spent the next year in private practice as a general dentist in Valencia, California. Dr. Hack then moved to Connecticut where she completed a three-year program to earn her endodontic certificate and Master of Dental Science from theUniversity of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She served as chief endodontic resident in her final year.After graduation, Dr. Hack achieved board certification and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. She is a participating member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Anne Arundel County Dental Society, and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Hack was born and raised inMaryland and after living in various parts of the country, is happy to once again call Maryland home. In her spare time, Dr. Hack enjoys cooking, running, traveling, and spending time with her husband and her two girls.
Dr. Nathaniel T. NicholsonDr. Nicholson is an expert and devoted clinician. Dr. Nicholson earned his DDS degree as well as his endodontic certificate and masters degree from West Virginia University. Dr. Nicholson is also Board Certified by the American Board of Endodontics. He has numerous publications and awards to his credit. He previously served on the faculty of the West Virginia University Endodontics Department, and he continues to volunteer in this capacity.
Nathaniels wife, Kayleigh, is a Severna Park High School Alumna, and she also graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in dental hygiene. Nathaniel and Kayleigh, along with their two young sons have decided to make Anne Arundel County their home.

Our office is located on the northbound side of Ritchie Hwy (Rt.2), just north of Rt. 10. Look for the modern three-story office building. Retail spaces are in front, the entrance to our office space is around back, and there is reserved parking especially for our patients outside the lobby entrance.

Great experience here with Dr. Hack and Kristin! The office was very clean and friendly and completely put me at ease for getting my root canal. Great bedside manner, answered questions I didn't even have, and got me in within a day and out within an hour. Best doctor's office I have been to in a long time.

Everyone that works here is really nice which is helpful when you're getting a root canal. They are very quick to get you in and make a root canal as good an experience as a root canal can get it. I just wish they would play better music

Dr. Manzano was awesome and the staff, each and everyone, were wonderful. Root canals aren't supposed to that way. I was so relieved at how easy it turned out to be I came back with with cupcakes for the whole office.

There are simply not enough words or stars to share how grateful I am to Dr. Mangano and his staff. I suffer from severe anxiety and dread every dental appointment I have ever had in my lifetime as a result. Today was truly an amazing experience in that during a root canal procedure I was totally at ease and can't believe how (dare I say) easy and most importantly painless this procedure was. Thank you. Dr Mangano and staff for a truly life altering dental appointment.

I just got a root canal for a tooth I broke here today and I couldn't have been in better hands. Dr. Mangano was so patient with me. His assistant, Sam, helped me relax as this is the first procedure I had ever done without something for anxiety. She offered her hand and was just so caring. It should be noted I am pregnant and they were so careful with me and made sure to double vest for X-rays performed. I hope I never have to go back, BUT if I do, I will be going to this practice every time. Thank you! Highly recommend this practice. Very clean, organized, comfortable, and professional.

I do not like dentists. I would rather take a beating but Dr Nicholson was excellent. He didn't hurt me once and the next day I had no pain at all. I've had tenderness at least from a regular old filling but absolutely nothing from Dr Nicholson! I had a call the next evening to check on me and whether I had any problems and overall I am very pleased with my visit. I wish I could have Dr Nicholson for all my dental needs!

just like a few others mentioned! Watch out! Even with insurance you will be charged out of pocket without a heads up! Dentist referred my daughter here due to pain in her tooth. Her dentist thought she may need a root canal or just a filling redone. My daughter's dentist sent over x-rays with the referral. The staff looked at her x-rays and then called me and told me my daughter needed a root canal. I didn't feel comfortable with them making that decision without examining her. I decided to hold off and in the meantime asked her regular dentist if she could just redo the filling and see if the pain resolves. But again her dentist didn't want to do that and insisted we get an evaluation with the endodontist. So a few months later I called this office and scheduled her for an evaluation, not a root canal appointment. I took my daughter in and the assistant said she needed better x-rays done and took some new ones. Then the endodontist evaluated my daughter and determined that she needed the filling replaced NOT a root canal. As I was checking out I was told I owed $120 since the x-rays are 3D and insurance doesn't cover these fancy x-rays. Poor business tactic! Most people want to know if there is an out of pocket cost before service..I never even heard of a 3d x-ray and was not explained that the x-ray being taken was something different than a regular x-ray that won't be covered.

I just had a root canal this morning. Dr. Hack was the specialist that performed the procedure and her assistant Katie. It was a very pleasant experience. Dr. Hack did an excellent work. I am very anxious bec., it's been awhile since i last had a major work done in my teeth. Both Dr. Hack and Katie was awesome in making me feel relax and comfortable. Procedure itself did not take long. They have hightech equipments. It was a painless root canal. No post op pain whatsoever. Everyone is friendly. Great experience. Highly recommend

Verified insurance over the phone BEFORE the procedure. After the procedure, I paid the patient portion BEFORE leaving the facility. I received a bill for over $600 about 10 days later that DUE UPON RECEIPT. Wow, I did not even have time to question the weird charge on the bill. Why quote me a price, have me pay the price, then send some amended bill later?? And I tried to ask a question about the bill and I was met with a threat of late charges and collections. Not only that, the temporary filling or padding she put in fell out the very next day after the root canal. $1500 for a crown, and $1000 for a root canal + the $700 my insurance covered. What a ripoff!

I had to have an unexpected root canal procedure and they were so helpful and timely in getting me an appointment even though I was a new patient. When I got there they explained every single step of the way and made sure to keep me informed throughout the procedure. The whole thing only took around 40 minutes and that's not even the best part, I have absolutely no soreness or pain, AT ALL! The moment the numbness wore out I felt completely fine. They are amazing! 10/10 recommend

Beware of the unnecessary "3 dimension " X ray that they will try to sell you. Incidentally the insurance companies don't cover it and they will tell you that is imperative to the diagnosis. ( it is not, I left their office and went to a very reliable dentist and he did just fine with the regular x ray).

I just had a double root canal on my front two bottom teeth. Dr Nicholson took care of me practically pain-free and in a timely matter. Everyone there is very professional and polite and great to work with. I highly recommend them!!!

Was referred to this place by my main dentist after confirmation that a root canal was needed. Since I had never ever had one before I was TERRIFIED! BUT I was in so much pain I was willing to go through and pay the hefty fee (lol). It was honestly such an amazing and easy experience. I would recommend this place to anyone with a dental fear or a particular fear of root canals. It was easier than a cleaning!!!!!! I am so happy to have gone here and to not be in dental agony anymore!!! And Dr. Hack was amazing and sweet!!!!!!!
