Dr. Kenneth M. Laro graduated from Connecticut College in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He then graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dental Medicine in 1988 where he earned a D.M.D. Prior to his academic endeavors, Dr. Laro enlisted in the United States Navy where he served as a radio operator on a nuclear submarine for four years. He currently serves as the Team Dentist on the University of Connecticut sports medicine department where he treats athletes for both dental trauma and routine dental care. Along with countless hours Continuing Education credits Dr. Laro has taken advanced courses in digital dentistry and Invisalign orthodontics. He is married to his high school sweetheart Nancy, with whom he hasfour children and six grandchildren.
Dr. Joseph W. Laro is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2005 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. Shortly after 9/11, Dr. Laro enrolled in the University of Connecticut Army ROTC program. Upon graduating from college he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry. He went on to serve two tours in Afghanistan as an Infantry officer, where he was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Army Commendation Medal and a Bronze Star. Dr. Laro ended his military career as a Captain, leaving the Connecticut National Guard after nine years of service. He then enrolled in the pre-health studies program at Central Connecticut State University to complete the science coursework necessary for dental school. He is married to his wife Laura, with whom he hastwo children.

Both Dr Laros are the best.. very patient friendly and provide quality dental service. My son and I have been patients for over 10 year.

I think Dr. Laro and his son are the most honest, incredibly knowledgeable, smart and sincere doctors in the industry. They are very gentle, and will explain everything that you are going through with your teeth , if not they will send you or direct you to another professional for your answers, you decide, they do not just abandon you. Drs. Laro are amazing. My family and I have been seeing them for the past year... The care they show for our young kids is really appreciated, given how scary going to the dentist can be for children. They also take the time to get to know each and every patient. I've been to other dentists who seem to treat me as a number....Dr. Laro and Dr. Laro care about their patients, and it shows in the number of long-term patients who keep seeing them year in, year out.

Dr. Laro and his entire office are just amazing! They are kind, understanding, gentle, and make you truly at ease. I have been going to them for over 20 years and now my son is having his teeth taken care of there! I would not trust anyone else.
