Dr. Kenneth Legunn received his DMD degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1981. He completed his general dental residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Northport, NY in association with Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is a former clinical assistant instructor at the school of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook. Dr. Legunn received his Certificate in Periodontology from Columbia University in 1984. As a dental student, he pursued research on nutrition as it relates to periodontal disease. He is an experienced and skilled periodontist and has been placing dental implants for 25 years.
He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the NY State Dental Society, the Ninth District Dental Society, the Putnam County Study Group, and was previously the President of the Northern Westchester Study Club.
He has been listed in the Westchester Magazine as a Top Dentist for many years.Dr. Legunn believes in the importance of community service. He has organized and held several blood drives at his Pleasantville office.

Dr. Legunn is a conscientious and skillful periodontist. He explained my condition clearly and I was happy with the result. The office staff was also very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Ken Legunn is meticulous and caring. He performed a painless implant surgery. He has a very light touch and he did a thorough follow up. The office staff is accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend this practice and this doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Legunn for many years. I have my teeth cleaned quarterly by very thorough and experienced hygienists and Dr. Legunn always examines my gums after a cleaning. The office is well run, clean, accommodating and extremely professional and Kathy, the Office Manager is an added bonus - what a doll! I highly recommend

My general dentist recommended I find a gum specialist when my gums developed periodontal pockets that routine cleanings could not resolve. That was over 25 years ago... I was in my mid 30's and was diagnosed with moderate periodontitis. Through the years, Dr. Legunn has treated my moderate horizonal bone loss and gum recession. I know I have personally benefited from his thorough, conservative treatment plan. Fast forward to present day... I have received 2 gingival grafts to preserve the remaining bone support and gum support around my teeth. As a result of Dr. Legunn's expertise and excellent clinical skills, I have avoided the development of further bone loss, further tooth loss, and further gum infections. Every 3-4 months, I return to Dr. Legunn's office for periodontal maintenance. These visits include a thorough periodontal cleaning as well as a periodontal exams to closely monitor my periodontal status. Together with Dr. Legunn's phenomenal staff of dental hygienists and dental assistants, along with his awesome administrative staff, I truly believe I have been blessed to find such a dedicated, caring dental home.

Dr. Legunn is a superb Periodontist. Had gum surgery twice, he made each procedure a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend him. His staff is very friendly, they make you feel at home.

Dr . Legunn and his staff are beyond professional. I had a cracked tooth on a weekend and he was able to get me in first thing on a Monday morning and relieved my pain. So nice to know that they will be there when needed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Legunn's for approximately 30 years. During that time I've had periodontal cleanings. That's a deep dive into the gums. Scaling, root planning, xrays, removal of a tooth or two and implant. Geez, getting older means there's always something needed. Here's the important part - I have never had to return due to a problem or issue with what was done.
