Dr. Mikolas began private practice in Leechburg on October 2, 1986, after graduating from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois. Since that time he has earned the respect of his patients and colleagues as an honest and highly-skilled, restorative dentist who cares about providing conservative and functional dentistry.
Jessica has been providing gentle perio and hygiene services with Dr. Mikolas since 2007. One of her special interests has been in the field of pediatric hygiene where she has taken numerous continuing education courses. Another talent Jessica possesses is her passion for communicating with the deaf, as she is very fluent in sign language and serves in this position for various activities.

The staff are great but...my wife needed a lower denture after months of appointments to increase the costs the dentures never fit her correctly. After so many times she just gave up going back there.

I've been a regular patient for several years now, and I also bring my two kids to Dr Mikolas. I have always felt welcomed and everyone is very personable. The staff are always happy to answer questions and address concerns. I have had an old filling replaced, but otherwise all our appointments have been for regular cleanings and check ups. As long as we live in the area, we'll be patients of this office. :)

Very professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Wonderful, friendly office staff. My only regret is that I have only been a patient of theirs for the last decade. My dental health suffered by previous care - switching to Dr Mikolas was a great decision. His assistant, Bev, and his hygienist, Jess, are warm, caring and make the visit a pleasure. I know that my billing and appointments are in good hands with the lovely front office staff.

nice dentist and staff, but for 2 years in a row, every 6 months we were told both my husband and I had cavities, when we never ate sugar and brushed our teeth. We had no insurance so we paid full price and it was insane. Finally I told them that I didn't believe them, and we would be back in a year and a half, and if we still had cavities, we wouldn't return again. 1.5 years later? No cavities. This place will give you unnecessary surgeries. They are crooks!
