Having the opportunity to utilize my expertise and help patients achieve optimum, functional oral health is what drives my passion for dentistry. Our patients have a great appreciation for the care that we provide, and many of them have been with the practice since it was opened by my father in 1978. It is extremely rewarding to see those patients entrust our office with their own care, the care of their children, and their friends and family.
Staying informed of the latest dental treatment techniques is essential to best benefit our patients. Therefore actively seek lectures and courses throughout the year on the ever-developing treatment of dental implants, conscious sedation and anesthesia techniques, and the use of digital technology in diagnosis and treatment planning. I am also an active member in the South Sound Study Club, Premier Study Club, and Nobel Biocare Implant Study Club, along with regular review of current dental literature through research journals such as the Journal of Oral Implantology, International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants, Anesthesia Progress, Implant Dentistry, and the Journal of the American Dental Association.
We strive to provide quality, patient-centered dental care. Our goal is to create a unique dental experience for our patients, where their needs and comfort come first. Each Team member brings their individual element to the office, making everyday entertaining and enjoyable.
For the past four years the Kenner Dental Group has been an event sponsor for the Burien Brat Trot, benefiting Highline Schools Foundation. We have also worked to raise awareness of childrens oral health and provided pediatric dental care in the community.
I am a Burien native born and raised. My wife Dr. Leigh Kenner, who I met in dental school, and I have been married since October 2009. We have two beautiful children, daughter Brynn and son Liam, along with two dogs, Lilly and Cali. Our house is always a bit busy, but when there is time to relax and get away, our family loves outdoor activities together, watching the Seahawks, traveling to see family in San Diego and Palm Springs, and enjoying the beach along Alki. My individual outdoor passion is fresh-water fly fishing, although Ive been known to throw saltwater flies off Alki Point and Fauntleroy occasionally.

Our entire office is focused on the patient, their comfort, and their complete dental health care above all else.
I am a proud mother of twin girls, Sylvia and Sophia. We enjoy exploring the PNW, camping, and lounging on the beach during our summers. In every chapter of life, I am excited for all the new adventures that await me!
Compassionate patient care is something that has always come naturally to me. With over 8 years in customer service my first priority is making sure you are comfortable and taken care of on every occasion. I truly believe that a kind hearted approach to any circumstance is going to make the most in any relationship.
As a Pacific Northwest native, if Im not enjoying the outdoors with my 1 year old border collie, Im at home listening to podcasts or reading a good book. Quality family time is important to me, as the oldest of 4 siblings I try to stay connected as much as possible.
Having been in the dental field since 2001, Ive have time to truly develop my passion for helping patients achieve their dental goals. Ive seen dentistry as a dental assistant, Receptionist, Financial Coordinator, and Office Manager. Each of these positions have given me extraordinary experiences of meeting new people, watching them as they make their dental journey, and on-going relationships with the office like they were family.
As your hygienist, my philosophy is simple: Create synergy through open conversation and collaboration that will empower us to accomplish your goals. This is something that I have developed over my years of practice and embrace it every day. It is what drives me to be the best hygienist I can for You. There is nothing I find more gratifying than being part of the transformation from disease to health and radiance.
On a personal side, to me life is a whirlwind of fun with just enough chaos to make things interesting. A Burien native, I grew up going to St. Bernadette School for K 8 then Kennedy for high school. My college years were spent at Eastern Washington University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree in 2012. Right after graduating I married my eighth grade sweetheart and we now have two boys, Luca and Dominic. They are full of life and energy just like me. As a family we cherish the outdoors and are always looking for outdoor adventures around the Pacific Northwest.
Kenner Dental Group is a fun and professional office and thats why I love being part of the Team! Our patients receive outstanding dental care and I am afforded the one-on-one time needed to fully understand and address patients specific needs. I have been a hygienist for many years and have been part of several offices. I can truly say that I feel extremely lucky to be part of the Team at Kenner dental group.
Patients who have generally healthy gums will typically only need routine hygiene visits every 6 months. Patients who have mild to moderate periodontal disease will require more involved hygiene visits every 4 months. And for those patients who have severe periodontal disease, highly involved hygiene visits every 3 months will be necessary. Teeth themselves are obviously a cornerstone to a great smile.
Tooth decay, staining, breakage, and wear can weaken teeth and affect their appearance. In advanced cases, restorative treatments may be needed to correct issues and strengthen the teeth. These procedures can be anything from fillings to correct tooth decay, whitening to eliminate stains, or crowns to repair broken or worn teeth. In extreme cases, excessive decay or breakage can require the removal of the tooth and replacement with a dental implant or bridge would be needed. Even the most healthy and strong teeth can be damaged by bad personal habits. The most common is lack of brushing and flossing.
By being diligent in your brushing and flossing, you can greatly reduce the chance that you will need extensive treatment to restore your teeth. Frequent consumption of acidic and sugary foods is another common habit that if reduced, can have a significant effect in decreasing the chance for tooth decay. Our team is here to discuss the best ways to keep your teeth clean at home, show you various available products that make cleaning your teeth easier, and review your dietary habits to see if what you are doing is really hurting your teeth. By addressing all of these elements, you will be able to achieve and maintain that radiant smile that you desire.
Dr. William Kenner V takes the time to talk with patients about their dental health and current needs and answer any questions that patients may have. Whether you are seeing us for a routine hygiene visit, fillings, restorative treatments like dental implants, or cosmetic dentistry like crowns and veneers, we want you to be educated and informed so that you are comfortable with your treatment and understand your dental needs.
We offer state-of-the-art digital technologies that allow us to take an optical scan of your teeth instead of those uncomfortable impressions with putty, acquire 3-dimensional radiographs of the jaws, and even provide same-day crowns. You can also take advantage of IV conscious sedation for any dental procedure you may need, from deep cleanings and fillings to wisdom teeth removal and implant placement. You can relax knowing youre in good hands!
