Dr. Catharine Kennedy attended the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry where she graduated at the top of her class. Prior to dental school Dr. Kennedy graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University.
She completed a one year General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where she obtained advanced experience in all aspects of general dentistry and hospital based dentistry.
Dr. Kennedy grew up in Barrington, Illinois and currently lives in Deer Park with her husband, Glenn, and their two children, Jane and Joey! She is an avid animal lover, and is proud to consider two rescue dogs and a horse as part of her family
Dr. Kate Limardi completed her undergraduate training at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She went on to receive her dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she met Dr. Kennedy!
She continued on to complete a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, again with Dr. Kennedy by her side. Dr. Limardi received extra training in all aspects of general dentistry in the hospital setting.
Early in her training, Dr. Limardi joined the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). She is the past President of the Chicago AGD. This organization provides her with ample continuing education opportunities. Dr. Limardi received her Fellowship with the AGD in July 2017. She took over 500 hours of continuing education and took the AGD Fellowship Exam to qualify for this prestigious award. Only 6% of General Dentists receive this honor! She is also a member of a local Spear Education Study Club where she meets with doctors in the area to discuss difficult dental cases.
Dr. Limardi was raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago and now lives in Chicago with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, golfing, cooking, working out, and attending Chicago sporting events (Go Cubs! Go Bears! Go Hawks!)
Dr. Sharma was born and raised in Palatine, Illinois. He later moved to Wauconda where he completed high school. Dr. Sharma received his Bachelors of Arts in Biology degree at Roosevelt University in Chicago. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Sharma continued his training and completed a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago.
During his residency, Dr. Sharma received additional training in all aspects of dentistry including oral surgery, implant surgery, IV sedation, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, special needs dentistry and more. He has a keen interest in lowering dental anxiety by getting to know his patients and truly making them comfortable in his office. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois State Dental Society. He strives to provide excellent care for his patients by continuously education himself in the latest in dentistry.
Wendy has been working at Kennedy & Limardi Family Dental since October 2017, but Dr. Kennedy has worked with her since 2012. She has been in the dental field for over 30 years! She enjoys getting to know every patient and making them as comfortable as possible. She can also help patients navigate the complex dental insurance world.
Wendy has been married for over 20 years and has three beautiful children. She loves to spend time with her family, go on beach vacations, and enjoys cheering on her son at wrestling tournaments (he went to State his freshman year of high school!)
Noelle has been working at Kennedy & Limardi Family Dental since June 2018, but Dr. Limardi has worked with her since 2012. She enjoys learning about dentistry every day, assisting in dental procedures, helping to keep the office organized, and getting to know the patients and their families.
Kathy was Dr. Chorzempas assistant for 20+ years prior to Dr. Kennedy and Limardi taking over in 2017. She enjoys putting patients at ease during dental treatment and seeing patients whom she has known for years at the office.
Cesar has been working at Kennedy & Limardi Family Dental since August 2018. He moved to the US from the Dominican Republic. He is a licensed dentist in the Dominican Republic and his goal is to become a dentist in the United States. He is planning on applying to the UIC Advanced Standing Dental Program.
Nina was a hygienist for Drs. Chorzempa and Ziah for 3 years prior to Dr. Kennedy and Limardi taking over in 2017. Her Mom was also a hygienist at the practice for over 20 years until she retired from dental hygiene.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, Nick, beautiful baby boy, Elliott, and her two dogs (her fur babies). They are sports fanatics and loves cheering on the Cubs at Wrigley and the Hawks at the United Center!
Sharon was a hygienist for Drs. Chorzempa and Ziah for over 20 years prior to Dr. Kennedy and Limardi taking over in 2017. She has loved getting to know the patients and watching their families grow over the years!
Professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Chorzempa served on the faculty of Loyola University School of Dentistry as Assistant Professor of Removable Prosthetics. In 2000, Dr. Chorzempa became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

I had an appointment with Dr. Kennedy a couple of weeks ago for an exam and cleaning. I was looking forward to my regular hygienist who always does a great job but learned that she was now a stay-at-home Mom. I was a little apprehensive about a new hygienist but those reservations were quickly put to rest. May was not only pleasant, she was obviously very knowledgeable as she explained everything she was doing with a very caring demeanor. Most importantly, she is obviously proficient and passionate about what she does and I could not have been more impressed as I left a still very satisfied customer! Thanks May :)

The entire team is so warm, friendly, and welcoming! I went in for a routine cleaning and X-Rays, and they were so gentle. They were also so patient with me and helpful with my unique situation. I love this place! I definitely recommend it whether for kids or adults, they do an amazing job!

I am very afraid of dentists. I had an emergency and my filling fell out a few days before Christmas. Not only did they get me in, they got the work done before the end of the year. Dr. Limardi and Kennedy are both amazing. I was actually laughing in the chair, which is unheard of since I truly have a fear of dentists. I CANNOT recommend them enough. UPDATE 2020: I cannot say enough nice things about these dentists. I have had nothing but bad experiences at other places. They are kind, professional and great at their job! Update- October 2022 They hire the nices hygienists! I don't even have anxiety anymore about going. May, my dental hygienist today was so kind and sweet. Dr. Limardi was as kind as usual. Amazing how I no longer have dental fears.

I was so happy I was able to get an appointment with these dentist's yesterday! The office is bright and happy and the staff was fabulous. It was the first time the dreaded numbing injection didn't hurt! If I lived in Illinois I would definitely switch to this practice. Well done ladies!!!

Visited here for the first time myself as it came highly recommended - May was a wonderful hygienist!! I brought all of my daughters here as well recently and everyone was amazing! Great staff all around! This will be our new family dentist office which has taken us years to find!

I was crowned again today!!! I'm not that person that gets nervous when coming to Kennedy & Limardi Family Dental cuz I know that my visit will always be painless. The welcoming front desk greeting from Wendy and Noel always precedes the visit. I receive nothing but great care form the assistance of Kathy and Michelle. My teeth always glimmer after Vanessa performs my cleaning. Dr. Kennedy's demeanor is extremely comforting and accompanied with a clear explanation of each procedure. When I am happily on my way, I'm presented with a little goody bag filled with several tooth care products. I know I must be crazy, but I always look forward to my visits. Thank you to everyone for making my experiences pleasurable. Do not hesitate to make your appointment here! You will be extremely pleased.

I am a dentist by training and as such, am a high maintenance dental patient. While I typically take good care of my teeth, I was recently involved in a car accident that left me with the need for dental care. Knowing the trauma I had experienced and being the amazing people they are, the team at Kennedy and Limardi dental was gentle, kind and thorough in their evaluation and care. Not only are the doctors amazing dentists, they are even more amazing human beings- as is every person on their staff. I'm so lucky to call have this practice and this team nearby. I highly recommend this team for all of your dental care needs.

This place is amazing! I have been going here for at least a year now. Great bedside manner. I love the environment and could never have a complaint. The staff is amazing and always willing to help. This is one of the best dentists I have ever been to.

Such a great first experience. Even though they are busy, they were able to get me in quickly to check out why I've been having so much pain. Dr. Kennedy and Kathy were great & reassured me about what I need and didn't pressure me about anything. Which is something I dealt with at another dental practice. Thank you!
