Dr. Patrick Kennedy received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center at Memphis.
His late wife, Kelly Ballard, was a Powell, TN native and convinced him to choose the North Knoxville area for his practice due to its wonderful people, beauty, and proximity to their families. He started Kennedy Dentistry in August 2005 and has been bringing quality service to the North Knoxville area ever since.
He has since remarried. He and his beautiful wife, Sara, are raising two wonderful daughters, Taylor and Charlotte. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially outdoors. Their favorite activities include hiking, swimming, and mountain biking.
Dr. Trent Stansbury joined Kennedy Dentistry in March 2015. While he claims Johnson City, TN as home, he had the unique privilege of living all over the world in his youth. His father, a retired Army aviator who flew the UH-60 Black Hawk and UH-1 Huey helicopters, was stationed overseas in Heidelberg, Germany and Singapore, Singapore during his childhood. These experiences gave him a lot of insight into different cultures, ideals, and experiences. After his fathers retirement from the Army in 1995, his family retired to Johnson City, where Dr. Stansbury attended Science Hill High School and graduated as salutatorian.
He then attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology, graduating summa cum laude. He obtained his DDS from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, after which he participated in a general dentistry residency program at UT Medical Center. During the residency, he furthered his clinical skills in dentistry while receiving advanced training in dental implants, implant restoration, rehabilitation of complex cases, and treatment of compromised individuals in an OR setting.
After his residency, Dr. Stansbury worked for six years in a Kingston general dentistry practice with a focus on both adult and pediatric dental care. He is comfortable with and enjoys working on children of all ages. Each year he commits countless hours expanding his dental knowledge through continuing education courses across the country.
In his free time, he enjoys almost anything outdoors, especially hiking, snow skiing, and water skiing. He married his high school prom date, Tabitha. They are raising two beautiful children, Taylor and Trevor.
Dr. Nickita Zaveri, a Knoxville native and lifelong Vols fan, has been helping patients improve their oral health since 2015. Dr. Z enjoys coming to work each day for many reasons, but her favorite part of the job is working with our awesome team!
Dr. Z attended East Tennessee State University, where she majored in chemistry and minored in business administration. She then attended dental school at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Following graduation, Dr. Z completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Through her extensive training and significant commitment to continuing education, Dr. Z. has gained advanced clinical skills in implants, sedation, cosmetic dentistry, and general dentistry.
