At Kennedy Dental, we are a full-service practice that offers comprehensive dental procedures. We focus on preventative dental care techniques and do all we can to preserve your oral health. We focus not just on your mouth, but on how your oral health impacts your overall wellness.

We pride ourselves on staying up-to-date on the latest dental technologies. We can provide full-service procedures on location and do not need to refer you to other practitioners. We can do all this with the care and compassion youd receive from a family member. At Kennedy Dental, we have a great combination of skillful dental expertise and attentive care to the whole person.

Dr. Larry Kennedy is a Marshall University graduate and comes from South Point, Ohio. He graduated from the Ohio State Universitys College of Dentistry in 1983. After spending sixteen years in private practice in southern Ohio, he joined with his brother, Dr. Gary, to open Kennedy Dental in 2000. Larry has consistently put a high priority on continuing education and has taken courses in all areas of dentistry. His special interests include: Occlusion, Head, Joint and Neck pain and Comprehensive Rehabilitative Dental Care. Kennedy Dental prides their office on providing the most thorough dental exam you will ever experience while treating each patient as the unique individual they are.

Dr. Kennedys professional affiliations include: The American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association, the Columbus Dental Society and The Central Ohio Dental Forum of the international Seattle Study Club. He and his family attend Grace Church of Powell. Another longtime commitment has been Vision Trust International. He has spent several vacations providing much needed dentistry to orphans in the Dominican Republic through Vision Trust.

His personal interests include golfing and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Theresa, have been married since 1983 and have 2 daughters, Erinne and Danielle. Erinne recently graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in southern Florida with her doctorate as well as a Masters degree in Public Health. Erinne completed a one year residency at the Baltimore VA and recently graduated from Harvard University with an advanced degree in public Health. Danielle graduated from The Ohio State University with her Bachelors in accounting and continues to pursue her CPA.

Sarah is a dental hygienist at both our Marysville and Huntsville locations. She graduated from the Rhodes State Dental Hygiene program in June 2005. Sarah has been a part of the Kennedy Dental team since July 2005. She has a gentle touch and endeavors to make patients feel comfortable and to ensure that they are getting the best dental care possible. Outside of work, Sarah and her husband, JJ, love spending time with their two beautiful girls.

Rebecca is a hygienist at both our Marysville and Huntsville locations. She graduated from the Rhodes State Dental Hygiene program in June 2012. She takes pride in providing thorough hygiene care for all her patients at Kennedy Dental. She is a meticulous dental hygienist and very passionate about helping people understand the importance of their oral health. When not at the office taking quality care of her patients, she is at a field or gym cheering for her children. She loves spending quality time with her two exquisite girls.

Shelli is the lead dental assistant at our Huntsville office. She is a 1991 graduate of the University of Dayton. She has been with Kennedy Dental since 1996. Shelli knows the ins and outs of the dental office and helps to keep systems in place so the day runs smoothly and on time. She truly values the great patients for whom she cares. Her gentle nature makes patients feel comfortable during procedures. When she is not working, Shelli loves to spend time outdoors and taking care of her many animals including her dogs, goats, pig, miniature horse, chickens and Wayne.

Theresa is our business office manager. Marketing is her specialty, although she has over 30 years of experience as a dental hygienist, which has become very useful in managing aspects of the practice. She is an active member of the Central Ohio Dental Forum for front office associates and for dental hygienists where she keeps up to date on everything in the dental field. In her free time, Theresa enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Larry and their two daughters, Erinne and Danielle. She also enjoys shopping and cooking for her family and friends.

Melinda is our practice manager for both the Huntsville and Marysville offices. Melinda became part of the Kennedy Dental family in 2000 and has become a patient favorite. She enjoys her Kennedy Dental family and the kindness they show for our patients and each other. When she is not at work, she enjoys camping and spending time with her family. Melinda and her husband, Chuck have three grown daughters and one beautiful grandbaby.
