Our pediatric dental practice provides comprehensive pediatric dentistry services for children of all ages from Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, Bothell, Shoreline, and Kirkland, WA. We allow ample time for visits in our office, to ensure your childs comfort and make sure they maintain beautiful, healthy smiles. Our board certified pediatric dentist Dr. Stewart will help your childs dental visit to be a fun and positive experience.
Dr. Laura Stewart was born and raised in Mount Vernon, Washington. She attended Pacific Lutheran University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Laura ventured east for dental school and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2007.
As a new dentist, she desired a meaningful way to begin her career and joined the Indian Health Service. She spent two years on a reservation in rural northern Minnesota and helped develop comprehensive care at an under-served facility. After gaining experience in both public health and private practice, Dr. Laura realized her passion for treating children and completed a pediatric dental residency at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska in 2013.
Pediatric dentistry provides me a wonderful opportunity to impact children and parents at the earliest level, and I am excited to be a part of your familys health care. My focus is on earning the trust and confidence of your child, utilizing a compassionate and gentle chair side manner. I feel strongly that education, prevention and early detection are the keys to maintaining optimal oral health. Together we will create a fun and positive dental home that will grow with your child for years to come.
Leslie joined our office as a pediatric dental assistant in 2019. Growing up in Mexico, Leslie became fluent in both English and Spanish. She moved to Seattle when she was 12 years of age and later graduated from Everest community college in 2015. Leslie loves connecting and interacting with kids to meet their individual needs. You will always see her smiling and making our patients smile and feel at ease. Leslie has a beautiful daughter named Kaylee who is the most important motivation and impulse in her life. Leslie also loves to go hiking on her free time. Her passion for dental health and her enjoyment of working with kids is the most rewarding parts of her job.
I began my dental career in early 2019 as a scheduling coordinator. After learning more about the field I truly developed a passion for patient care, and just knew I wanted to work chairside. I eventually made my way to Pediatrics in August of 2020, and I immediately fell in love with the specialty. Having two kids of my own and tons of previous experience with children, I understand that every child has different personalities and needs to create a positive experience for them. I strive to give my patients a comfortable and excellent experience so that they will look forward to coming back to the dental office!
I grew up with 5 sisters and 1 brother here in Washington. At the age of 15 we moved to San Diego, CA where I gained experience with customer service & the early stages of working with kids. When I was 21, I decided it was time to move to Austin, TX. I continued to work with kids but wanted to expand my education and attend dental assisting school.
In May 2020 I received my dental assisting license in Austin. I worked for a general practice for about a year before I decided to move back to my home state of Washington. Ive carried a true joy for working with children but ever since working at Kenmore Pediatric Dentistry, that joy has turned into a passion! Seeing little ones gain confidence and come back to the office excited to be cared for here has filled my heart completely!

Kenmore pediatric is by far the most caring, patient, and joyful dentist for kids! All fears and anxiety of the dentist melt away after meeting with these amazing talented ladies! They take the time to listen to both kids and parents and make sure to cover all questions with detailed and efficient answers. 5 star recommend.

This is a fantastic pediatric dentistry experience! Everything from entertainment for kids to really kind, calming staff - they've thought of it all. Now my child is looking forward to going back!

Just like most kids mine did not enjoy going to the dentist, but the people here are so friendly and wonderful my kids ask to go back. Fantastic staff!!!

My family love coming to see Dr. Laura! Even though we live 30 minutes away, it's worth the drive. She is very personable, warm and friendly. The staff are so kind and I love their new office. It's open and bright and easy to find. I highly recommended Kenmore Pediatric Dentistry.

Best dentist experience ever. We have been coming since my child first tooth appeared. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Always is a positive and enjoyable experience for my child that makes him to want to keep coming. The x ray technology is the coolest I ever seen!!

I can't say enough good things about this place. So here are just a few: 1) One of my kids is usually an anxious patient, but not here. My anxious child is comfortable with everyone here. 2) Customer service is always on point. 3) Their new facility is great; clean, organized, welcoming, and made for kids' comfort. I can't recommend them enough!

We have just moved here and were referred to Kenmore Pediatric Dentistry and I could not be more satisfied! Dr. Laura took the time to explain everything and keep me involved in the plan for my child, and was very friendly! The front desk staff and hygienist were also very friendly and personable! They even had my child's name on a welcome board outfront!

Great to see a pediatric dentistry that has caring staff who thoughtfully mapped out the child experience. They designed their facility and made every part of the experience pleasant for the kids including the ceiling TVs and the golden coin & balloon send off. Highly recommend.

Great husband and wife team operating Kenmore Smiles and Kenmore Pediatric Dentistry. We see Dr Mott next door and the kids have been seeing Dr Stewart since they were babies. Their new space is custom built with the latest technology and they do a good job with keeping things clean and following COVID precautions. I work in healthcare so I am very particular about who my family sees for care and have nothing but good experiences here from the care to billing to scheduling.

Dr. Stewart and her staff create a wonderful environment for children of all ages to go through periodic cleanings and minor procedures. They have also been maintaining precautions against COVID-19 to protect both patients and staff.

We recently moved over 20 minutes away and tried out a pediatric dentist in our new town that was supposed to be great for kids but it was not a good experience and no comparison to this clinic. So we just switched back to Kenmore Pediatric! Dr. Laura and her team of hygienists are so calm and reassuring, always explain what they are doing, and are flexible for my anxious kid (like not using the suction when they realized it was going to be too loud and scary.) Both my kids can be seen at once in the same room which is amazing but it is not so big that it would be crowded with lots of other patients. They each have their own TV and can pick the show which gives my kids a sense of control that makes the whole visit go better. We will not be switching from this clinic again!
