Dr. David Kemp earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Dr. Kemp earned his Doctor of Dental Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. He completed his Orthodontic Residency and earned his postdoctoral Master of Science degree in Orthodontics from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. He opened the doors of Kemp Orthodontics in July of 1986 and has over 34 years of creating beautiful smiles and happy patients.

Dr. Kemp continues to further his education by participating in and lecturing to various dental study clubs, both locally and internationally. Dr. Kemp continues to serve on several advisory boards of companies where he helps to push the application of cutting-edge technology in the orthodontic field. Like Dr. Rice, Dr. Kemp sees patients in all three of their office locations: Franklin, Brentwood, and Spring Hill each week. He enjoys helping people achieve their most beautiful smiles.

Dr. Kemp is married to Rhonda McMillen Kemp, who owns a creative management firm. In her spare time, she is a freelance writer whose specialty is family history research. The Kemps are active in many local philanthropies, including Feed America First and the Franklin Homeless Initiative. They love ballroom dancing, and Dr. Kemp holds several trophies for his ballroom dancing competitions. He is the current Mirror Ball Trophy winner for his tango at the Dancing with the Nashville Stars competition. The Kemp family recently welcomed their first grandchild and look forward to sharing all things Tennessee Titans football and Nashville Predators hockey with Baby Kemp in the future.

Dr. Rice is a native of Carmi, Illinois, a rural agricultural community in southeast Illinois. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning the highest academic honor of Bronze Tablet. Dr. Rice attended dental school at Southern Illinois University located near the St. Louis metroplex where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. He graduated at the top of his dental class earning the prestigious Alpha Omega award and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Following dental school, Dr. Rice completed a three-year orthodontic residency at one of the top orthodontic programs in the country at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry located in Dallas, Texas.

He earned his Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and Orthodontics. While in residency, Dr. Rice had the opportunity to train with the renowned craniofacial team at Dallas Childrens Hospital, with emphasis on orthodontic cleft lip and palate treatment. This training has led both Dr. Kemp and Dr. Rice to join the cleft and craniofacial team at the Monroe Carrell Jr. Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital. Drs. Kemp and Rice are honored to be the only orthodontists on this amazing team of medical providers.

Outside of the office, Dr. Rice enjoys spending time with his beautiful fianc Brielle, as well as participating in anything athletic or outdoors. You can see him at most Tennessee Titans home games or Nashville Predator Hockey games.

I have been married since 1978 to a very patient man (Harold). We have 4 grown children and several grandchildren! We are active in our church and Christian ministries, and we love to travel, entertain friends and family, walk and hike, and, of course, keep our grandchildren. Love our Titans and Predators as well as Auburn and Georgia.

I was born in Michigan, but my grandparents were from the South. Now, I am reconnecting with my Southern roots that my grandparents instilled in me and loving my new life in Tennessee. Joining the Kemp and Rice Orthodontics team in 2018 has been the icing on the cake! The doctors and staff have welcomed me like family.

I have had theprivilege to be a Cross-Trained RDA for 12 years. Mostof my career has been in general dentistry, but,when I was offered a position to become a team member of Kemp and Rice Orthodontics, I accepted! I know the experiences at KRO will teach me a whole new world that will broaden my professional expertise. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, riding my motorcycle, andplaying sports.

I started my journey with Kemp & Rice Orthodontics in 2016. I began as a sterilization technician and then acquired my Registered Dental Assisting license. I started assisting in July of 2017. My job is so much fun. It is so rewarding so see the joy on the patients faces at the end of treatment when they have their perfect Hollywood smile! I wouldnt consider my job work because I enjoy going in each and every day and always make the most of each day! My coworkers are like family to me, and its even more heartwarming when the patients feel like friends/family, too! KRO has definitely been one of the best things to happen in my life, and I am so happy I chose this path as my career!

In my free time I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible, whether its lying by the pool, going to the river, or just hanging out and relaxing. I am a first-time mommy to a boy name Anthony, and I am looking forward to all the blessings that God is about to bring into my life!

I joined the KRO team in June 2021. I have been an orthodontic assistant since 2018. I am from Ukraine and am trilingual (Ukrainian, Russian, and English). My husband and I moved from South Carolina to Tennessee, and we love it here. In my spare time, you can find me with my husband and our sweet dog.

KRO has been my dental home since early 2021. I enjoy getting to know all the patients and giving them confidence to show off their smile. I have a beautiful daughter and a fantastic husband with whom I spend all my free time.

I have been an orthodontic assistant at KRO since early 2021. I love helping our patients achieve their perfect smiles and meeting new people. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and golden retriever Oakley. I also enjoy traveling and binge watching TV shows on Netflix.

I joined KRO in 1997. I have been in the dental field since 1993. I have been cross trained in all areas of the office and now enjoy treatment coordinating. I love welcoming patients into our office for their first visit and discussing the benefits of orthodontic treatment

I joined Dr. Kemps team in 1999. I have been in the dental field since 1990. I am a Registered Dental Assistant, a certified x-ray technician, and our OSHA coordinator. The most rewarding part of my job is to grow the relationships that develop through the care that I have been able to give our patients. I love to hear their stories and be a part of their lives in a substantial way.

Being able to take part in changing their smiles brings me great joy. I am very proud to be part of a transformation that can bring joy, self-confidence, and even self-esteem to our patients for a lifetime. I like to think that our patients are an extension of my family.I am originally from Hawaii. I am married to Christopher, and we have three children Keliikekoa, Akuakamalii, and Kealohilani. I love a night out with dinner and a movie, swimming, laughing, and being with my family.

I graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2015. While working on my undergraduate studies, I worked full-time at a dental office and fell in love with this career. It is such an honor to work at such an amazing practice as KRO and meet new people every day.

I am one of the newest team members at KRO, and I am excited to get to know our patients and their families. I love all things Disney and have two wonderful children. I have been in the dental field for many years and have experience in almost all dental specialties.

As far back in time as I can remember, I have had an obsession with teeth and smiles. After graduating from the Dental Staff School of Tennessee in 2013, I joined the KRO team. I have been a Registered Dental Assistant for five years now and absolutely love my job! I moved to Franklin in 1997 from Florida and have called Tennessee my home ever since. In my spare time, I love to explore new restaurants,go to Arrington Vineyard, and enjoy my time with my family and friends.

What I love the most about my position is the opportunity to learn. Creating specialty appliances for Dr. Kemps and Dr. Rices patients gives me the opportunity to provide a unique experience for each one. Because our practice is cutting edge, I have the opportunity to train in new techniques. I have been in the dental field since 1978. I received my RDA and x-ray license in 1994, and in 1995 I joined Dr. Kemp.

My son was in treatment with Dr. Kemp years ago. That was when I knew KRO was the place I wanted to work after getting to know Dr. Kemp. I have been with KRO since 2011 and am loving every minute of it!

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I own a wedding venue in Leipers Fork, so when I am not at KRO doing my part in creating beautiful smiles, I am working on creating dream weddings for my clients.
