Dr. Kelly is a 2008 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he received the school's Kem Award for Clinical Excellence, and the American Association of Oral Biologists Award, and was named a Hinman Scholar. He also represented the IUSD chapter of the American Student Dental Association, traveling to Capitol Hill to lobby our legislators for increased access to dental care for children. Additionally, he participated in numerous dental community outreach programs while in school, paying his own way to travel throughout the state and even out of the country to provide free dental care for children.

Originally from Idaho, Dr. Kelly grew up on a family farm where he learned the value of hard work. He served a two-year church mission in Argentina, where he became fluent in Spanish. Dr. Kelly completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, majoring in English, and minoring in Chemistry, Spanish, and Zoology. In addition to the time he devoted to his studies, he enjoyed cheering at college football and basketball games and playing intramurals.

He and his wife, Julie, have seven children and are actively involved in the community. In his limited spare time, Dr. Kelly enjoys reading, basketball, and water sports. He loves to spend time with his family and go on dates with his wife.

Dr. Kelly enjoys dentistry for many reasons. He loves to see complex cases come together in the best interests of his patients. He really enjoys educating his patients and helping them improve their oral health. He's lucky enough to work with an office full of fantastic team members who are energetic and positive, and who truly care about their work. Most of all, he enjoys talking with his patients, and views them, first and foremost, as friends.

Dr. Goodwin graduated from the University of Utah School of Dentistry in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2019. While in dental school, Dr. Goodwin served as class president while also participating in the Utah chapter of the American Student Dental Association. He also participated in many other community programs that provided dental care to those in need for little or no cost. After graduating, Dr. Goodwin traveled to the Dominican Republic where he received continued clinical training in dental implantology with the International Dental Implant Association. This training also allowed him to provide free dental implant surgeries to multiple underserved patients in the Dominican Republic.

Like Dr. Kelly, Dr. Goodwin grew up in the state of Idaho. Although Dr. Goodwin didnt grow up on a farm, he had plenty of opportunities to learn the importance of hard work, starting at the age of eleven when he got his first job moving irrigation lines. Dr. Goodwin served a two-year church mission in Brazil after graduating from high school. While in Brazil he became fluent in Portuguese, and after returning to the States he taught himself Spanish as well. Dr. Goodwin graduated with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Chemistry from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Dr. Goodwin and his wife, Kelly, have two small children that keep them both very busy. He grew up playing many different sports, and he especially enjoys baseball. He also loves being outdoors with his family, especially if the activities involve playing in the water, or, if its cold enough, the snow.

Dr. Goodwin has wanted to be a dentist since he was eight years old, and absolutely loves that he gets to live out his dream. He loves being able to get to know patients, and help them live healthier and happier lives by providing for their oral health needs. He feels that there is nothing more important than treating patients as if they were members of his own family.

Ruth grew up in Dubois County and graduated from Southridge High School. She received her associate degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern Indiana. She joined Dr. Kelly's practice in 2008. Ruth enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them achieve good dental health. Ruth and her husband, Bob, live in Dale. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, snow skiing, hiking, and visiting her daughters.

Miranda is a graduate of Southridge High School, and has worked in dentistry since 2003. She received her expanded functions dental assistant certification at the University of Louisville. She became certified in Coronal Polishing and Fluoride Application at the University of Southern Indiana. Miranda has twice completed the Externship program at the Midwest Implant Institute in Columbus, Ohio, in 2009 and 2014. Miranda and her husband, Joey, enjoy being outdoors, hiking, four-wheel riding, and spending time with family and friends.

Teresa is from Knox County and attended North Knox High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in Communications, and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Southern Indiana. She joined Kelly Family Dentistry in 2012. Teresa and her family moved to Jasper in 2004. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, and attending her children's sporting events.

Leah grew up in Santa Claus and graduated from Heritage Hills High School in 2008. She received her bachelor of science degree in Dental Hygiene and her Local Anesthesia permit from the University of Southern Indiana in 2013. Leah joined Dr. Kelly's dental team full-time in 2016. She now lives in Tennyson with her husband, Joey, and their son, Jackson. In her spare time, Leah loves running, boating, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Cora grew up in Dale, Indiana, and graduated from Heritage Hills High School in 2014. She received her bachelor of science degree in Dental Hygiene and her Local Anesthesia permit from the University of Southern Indiana in 2018. Cora first joined Kelly Family Dentistry in 2016 on a part-time basis. She enjoys taking road trips, going to baseball games, and spending time with her family.

Katie grew up in Ferdinand, Indiana. She graduated from Forest Park High School in 2021. She started with Dr. Kelly's team as a student intern in August, 2020. Katie is now attending the University of Southern Indiana and majoring in dental hygiene. Although she is busy with school, she loves to come help in the office on her days off. In her spare time, Katie loves boating, exercising, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Laura joined the Kelly Family Dentistry team in 2020. She is a graduate of Forest Park High School, and in 2010 earned as associate degree in Business. With her high energy and optimistic outlook, she looks forward to meeting you and helping care for your dental needs. Laura enjoys spending time with her two children and relaxing at home with her husband.

Samantha grew up in Jasper and graduated from Jasper High School in 2011. She completed the Dental Assistant Training Program with Dental Radiographer Certification through Vincennes University in 2020. She joined Kelly Family Dentistry in 2020. Samantha lives in Jasper with her family, Brian, and their four children, Cassidy, Christofer, Ellie, and Jace. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, traveling, camping, and watching her children's many sporting events.

Whitney grew up in Mariah Hill, Indiana, and graduated from Heritage Hills High School in 2011. She initially received her Registered Dental Assisting certificate in 2014. She later attended Carrington College in Mesa, Arizona, and received her associate degree in Dental Hygiene and her Local Anesthesia permit in 2018. She joined Kelly Family Dentistry in 2020. In her spare time, Whitney enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Carrissa grew up in Rockport, Indiana, and is a graduate of South Spencer High School, She has been a dental assistant for 28 years and received her Dental Radiographer Certification in 1994. She joined Kelly Family Dentistry in 2022. Carrissa lives in Grandview with her husband, and they have five children and two grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, photography, road trips and spending time outside.
