Being a dentist carries with it the responsibility to continually further my knowledge. Oral healthcare is an ever-evolving field, and I must stay at the leading-edge of developing technologies, new materials, and changes in treatment methodologies. My patients trust me to provide the highest level of care and range of treatment options; continuing educations ensures I am able to do so.
In addition to being an active member of theSeattle Study Club, each year I take numerous courses at different dental conventions, lectures, and meetings. I also take online courses and stay current on research.
When Im not working youll most often find me with my family, including my husband, four children, two dogs, and some cows and horses, too. I love attending my kids various extracurricular activities, and the family loves to camp and vacation together. I also enjoy golfing, reading, and crocheting.
I have been a dentalassistant since1991. One of my favorite parts of my job isgetting to know my patients and their families. My patients comfort and care is the most important aspect of my job, and I strive to make their dental visit as pleasant as possible. My goal is to make sure the patient is at ease during and following their dental procedure.I am blessed to get to work with such a great group of ladies that Inot only call my co-workers, but my friends.

My husband Dale and I married in 1992. We have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Spending time with my family is my priority when not working. One of my favorite things is watching my own children parent and watching my grandchildren in their sports or just playing outside. We love spending time together as a family! We do lots of cooking together and play lots of games.
I graduated from Midwestern State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and have been working for Dr. Wimmer since then. I love seeing our patients and hearing about their families. When they share stories with me, we become closer and often become friends. I appreciate becoming part of their lives, not just a healthcare provider. My day is spent delivering one-on-one care to patients. I perform dental cleanings, periodontal procedures, as well as taking x-rays. A lot of my time is spent providing education and finding oral hygiene home care products that work with each patients specific needs.
My husband and I were married in September 2008 and we have two children. Spending time with family is important to me - I enjoy attending the activities my kids are involved in, camping and scrapbooking.
Getting to know families is the best part of my job. Its a joy to work with each patient, especially helping those who are in pain or embarrassed, to feel comfortable during their visits and attain a healthy smile they love. I work closely with each person to improve their oral health. While I take X-rays, screen for oral cancer, clean teeth, and perform scaling and root planing, I talk with each person about their home oral hygiene routines. Its important to find home care processes that work with eachpersons unique needs.
