Lynn Keener was born in 1950 and raised in Harrison, Arkansas on a working cattle ranch. While going to school in Harrison he was involved in The Boone County 4-H and showed registered Black Angus Cattle at the Northwest Arkansas District Fair for nine years. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1968, and then attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville from 1968 thru 1970. After college he was accepted at the University of Tennessee Dental School in Memphis, Tennessee beginning in 1971. Attending dental school from 1971 thru 1973, he graduated in 1973 with Honors. While studying there he was accepted in the Richard Doggett Dean Honorary Society. He worked with the Public Health Department in Gainesville, Missouri after graduation. Wanting to return home and practice in Harrison, he joined his fathers dental practice in June 1974.

Lynn is a General Dentist, and has been a member of the Boone County Dental Association, Northwest Arkansas Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association since 1974. He is also a member of the American Orthodontic Society and has had extensive training in orthopedics, orthodontics, cephalometrics and the treatment of the temporal mandibular joint problems. The Arkansas Missions of Mercy, which treats patients that are in need of dental treatment but who do not have the means to pay for their care is one area that Lynn donates his time and expertise. He has been a member of the Flying Dentist Association since 1986. Lynn has been a pilot since 1968 and is commercial and instrument rated.

Lynn and Margie have three boys. Josh who practices dentistry with him, Morgan who is an Agriculture Business Major, and Brad who is in dental school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Brad plans on returning to Harrison and joining the family practice in June of 2013.

Lynn has served on the Chamber of Commerce Board and Harrison Round Up Club Board. Lynn has also served on the Boone County Airport Board for over 20 years, having been appointed by four different County Judges.

Spending time on their working cattle ranch with his wife, Margie, their three sons, their daughter-in-law, Megan, and their grandchildren is how Lynn enjoys spending time away from the office. Being an avid bow hunter and fisherman gives Lynn time in the outdoors along with running and biking. Spending time on the beautiful rivers and lakes of our area by kayaking and canoeing is also enjoyable to him.

Lynns philosophy of treatment is the same his father E. L. Keener Sr., DDS instilled in him many years ago, to treat the patient the way he would if it were one of his family members in the dental chair. Lynn practices conservative dentistry always offering the patients treatment options, then letting the patient help decide their treatment plan.

Someone once said: Find a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life. Lynn found that job early in his life. Lynn enjoys coming to work and looks forward to practicing dentistry many more years if the Lord so allows.

Dr. Josh Keener is a third generation dentist. His father is Dr. Lynn Keener and his grandfather was the late Dr. E.L. Keener. Josh was born and raised on the family farm in Harrison. He grew up working on the farm and in his fathers dental office. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1998, and went on to attend Hendrix College. In 2002, Josh graduated from Hendrix with a Biology Major and a Chemistry Minor. He was then accepted to both the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, and was one of two Arkansas students to be accepted to the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. Because Arkansas does not have a dental school, Josh chose to continue his education at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and graduated in 2006. Josh did very well in dental school, and graduated second in his class.

Honors and Awards received by Josh during his dental educational career include: making the Deans List all four years; graduated with High Honors; Deans Certificate of Achievement; Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society; Deans Honorary Odontological Society; Pierre Fauchard Acadamey Award; Dr. Robert N. Wilson Award; and Advanced Dental Education in Implant Dentistry.

Joshs professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the Arkansas State Dental Association, the Northwest Arkansas Dental Society, and the Boone County Dental Society. Josh has had the privilege to serve as President of the Boone County Dental Society, and be on the Arkansas State Dental Associations New Dentist Committee.

Josh and his wife Megan have two sons, Parker and Wyatt. They are active members at Crossroads Community Church. They enjoy raising cattle and spending time in the outdoors. When they are not at the dental office, or working on the farm, they spend their free time hunting and fishing.

Dr. Brad Keener is a third generation dentist, just like his brother, Dr. Josh. Brad was born and raised in Harrison. He grew up working in his fathers dental office and on the family cattle farm. He graduated from Harrison High School in 2005 and went on to attend Arkansas Tech University, where he was awarded the University Honors Scholarshipan award given to only 25 students per class. In 2009 Brad graduated with honors from Arkansas Tech with a Biology Major and a Physical Science Minor. He was then accepted to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN, from which he graduated in 2013. Brad did very well in dental school, and excelled in the clinical care of his patients. Brad has always had a heart for helping people and has volunteered at the Arkansas Mission of Mercy as a dental assistant since its inception, and as a dentist since graduating from dental school. Brad also volunteers at the Rotary Dental Clinic in Harrison. Both of these clinics provide free dental care to people who do not have the means to pay for their dental care.

Brad is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arkansas State Dental Association, the Northwest Arkansas Dental Society, the Boone County Dental Society, and the Flying Dentists Association.

Brad and his wife Lydia have one daughter, Lilly. They are both active members at Crossroads Community Church, where Brad and Lydia volunteer their time with the youth program. Brad enjoys flying and has been a pilot since 2006; he holds his instrument rating. Brad and his family enjoy spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, golfing, and on the area lakes and streams in the summers.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. They get you in quickly, are reasonably priced and will not tell you that you need expensive work that you don't. I've recommended them to everyone I know and even my dad comes down from Branson to go there.

I came here a few months ago with HORRIBLE toothpain, I am a tough girl, I was trying to tell them how bad it was but they basically didn't care and told me to go get a "mouthgaurd" That's literally all they told me, and I left. I got a mouthgaurd & woke up in the middle of the night CRYING in pain because of my teeth!!!! I went to the ER (I couldn't take the pain any longer) and they prescribed me some medicine and BOOM toothache gone!!!! If the dentist would have cared at all, he could have told me I need to go see my family doctor or something. Clearly I had an infection. A month before all this even happened, I got a filling and it is gone, he didn't fill anything. I don't think I should even have to pay for his services but they keep sending me a 160$ plus bill in the mail.

I hadn't seen a dentist for many years (since childhood), so needless to say, I was beyond overdue for cleaning, exam, and x-rays. I was very nervous and a little embarrassed about having my teeth looked at since I had not had professional dental care in my adult life. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and were very reassuring. They took great care of me, and I will definitely be going back to Keener Dentistry regularly for my checkups, cleanings, and any other dental work I might need. No more neglecting my dental health! Very kind, friendly, thorough, and professional service from all staff.

I'm still in the process of getting my teeth fixed properly, but Dr. Lynn Keener, the third dentist I've seen for this particular issue, is the most thorough I've ever seen. He wants pictures of the old me, a loved one that is familiar with how I'm supposed to look and numerous measurements and calculations. I am so far beyond impressed it's hard to even describe. I have extremely high hopes that Dr. Keener is the answer to my long-standing issues. Thank you, Dr. Kenner, for taking the time to do this right!! My new smile is all finished now and I am extremely pleased!! I will never go anywhere else again!! Thanks again, Dr. Lynn Keener!! You are the best of the best!
